Township Rebellion on Luclin?

Post by Nindalf »

Um,

Did I miss something? And where can I read the drama? I tried a search but there was only that thread from back in 2002.

While I'm posting, hellos to old friends, watched that Cestus video and I could feel the cravings coming back. Was nice feeling playing the end game back in the day.

Ta.

TR moved to Luclin during GoD (I think).. Don't know exactly. No real drama that I've seen. Apparently they weren't happy on Legends (Stormhammer.. whatever it's called).

From around 11-14-2004 or so:
This evening was a poignant moment for Township Rebellion, and we celebrate those that were with TR on Stormhammer from the very beginning to the very end (Chloris, Fitz, Shadoz, Xsalit, Vigilyn), and salute all of our brethren in Township Rebellion as we truly have had a great run of things in our time. There are too many highlights to mention them all, and too many great people to list individually. We salute Ciner and his original vision for Township Rebellion on Stormhammer, for without him, we wouldn't be where we are today.

Having said that, its a new day, a new dawn for Township Rebellion, and we are relocating to Luclin! Recruitment will be open on Luclin soon, information about that will be available shortly.

Goodbye to all our friends and neighbors on Stormhammer, and as we have heard that Precision Strike is leaving also, good luck to Fie of Nobility in their endeavors to carry on the SH torch!

From what I've understood from the people from Five Rings, they didn't like the idea of waiting in line to kill things on Legends. They wanted full access to mobs if they were up. So they chose Luclin, which at the time had no high-end game of their level so there was no contest to mobs.

actually the reason they chose luclin is because the amount of players who originally started EQ and played on luclin were high, including the leader. and they got bored with SH since the Gm's stopped caring soo much and it just became a high paying server.. There is no waiting in line to kill mobs in any expansion GoD+ since its all instanced.. there really is no competition for anything ever.

Ah, of course, now I realise they moved to Luclin before the Veeshan merge.
