Mudvayne's new album, Lost & Found is fucking great. If you thought Mudvayne was a smidge to hard for your liking before, try them out now. They have toned it down just a teeny little bit. Just enough to open up their music to a whole new audience, imho.
Excellent stuff.
One of those albums you can listen to from start to finish and reallt enjoy 10 of the 12 songs on the album.

Lost and Found is Mudvayne's "Black" album. I'm happy they've gotten more mainstream succes, but I am a tad worried of even more watering down of thier music in future releases. Granted, it's still pretty hardcore stuff even when watered down, especially for radio play, heh.
Mudvayne's LD 50 is thier absolute best album. The 2 follow up releases have been great as well, and there were a few gems on thier initial release, but LD 50 is so soild that I don't think they'll ever top it. There have been great songs, but LD 50 has the best flow, which really sets it apart. It's kinda like Tool and Anemia. I mean, where do you go from your masterpiece?
System of a Down is one of the few modern bands that has gotten even more outrageous with every release. They're one of the few bands that can make that claim and yet get more popular at the same time.
All in all, I really enjoy Lost and Found. It has grown on me bigtime, but it's missing the overall "concept-feel" that made LD 50 and to a lesser extent, The End of All Things to Come, superiour albums.
