Siji Jezebelle is my Rogue twink.
War is an option whose time has passed. Peace is the only option for the future. At present we occupy a treacherous no-man's-land between peace and war, a time of growing fear that our military might has expanded beyond our capacity to control it and our political differences widened beyond our ability to bridge them. . . .
Short of changing human nature, therefore, the only way to achieve a practical, livable peace in a world of competing nations is to take the profit out of war.
--RICHARD M. NIXON, "REAL PEACE" (1983)
"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, represents, in the final analysis, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children."

[Sun Nov 24 21:40:26 2002] You told Jezebelle, 'All giants past the gate are up..'
Was the only tell I sent Jez, wanting to be helpful, and that also was unaswered. I believe I sent that shortly after having killed the giants before the gate myself and was letting you know.
Oh wait, forgot this!
[Sun Nov 24 21:41:20 2002] You beam a smile at Jezebelle.
Damn me! I'm such the flirt.
Clarification(tm)! (Can't wait for KEI)

I wish you folks who try to pawn Jice off as some philanthropic all-father who gives selflessly of himself to the Veeshan community would stop defending Xena the Warrior Princess for a moment and listen to what his naysayers have to say. Taken from The Corps website:Mitzey wrote:Oh ya darn im so sorry i missed this run - and ya jice is such a fuckin asshole after the last Vox farmage i couldnt beleive he basically gave both white scales away (one to KoE who had one high level person there to help buff) and the other to some obscure guild who he was paying off to not contest first attempt rights. Yep im sure glad none of those folks came here bitching about how we handle Vox and such. Who the hell does Jice think he is anyway - Santa Claus or something?

Any genuine act of altruism usually isn't followed up by the individual flaunting how noble it was of them for not steamrolling some pickup Vox raid because they want bragging rights on how they took down said mob in a Rocky Balboa vs Apollo Creed epic struggle with heavy underdoggeristic (sp?) overtones. It takes a complete asshole to totally brag about rolling the guild (which is what he did by forming up while they did and pressuring them into giving up the spawn) and then boasting about how he gave the scale to them because he didn't want "any of the kind of cock fencing that usually goes on".Jice Virago wrote:Normally I wouldn't post a picture of Vox, but this kill is one to be proud of. The kill crew was six people with six buffers/giant clearers present also. Just about everyone was two boxing to get this done. A lower level guild (Huntress Lair) was there starting to mass for her, and despite the fact we were easily going to beat them out, I decided to cut them in on the scale just to let us try her with such a low force. I didn't want any of the kind of cock fencing that usually goes on when we bring our small kill team in and people don't believe it can be done with less than thirty people.
Maybe if they ever installed a "Best of the Best Kunark Dragon Slayers Contest" you (Jice or Jezebelle) could rise to the occasion and be 'The Man', but until then why don't you take all that cash from your Naggy and Vox runs, buy yourself a windblade, and contribute more to Rizz's xp group than a bag of hot air could.Jice Virago wrote: Edit: And hey if anyone wants to slam us for farming Naggy and Vox with alts, feel free. Its helped us out a lot and its a lot less hastle making cash doing this than cock fencing over Lozidal.
Dev stop sounding like such a mindless drone there dude - did you go ask any of these folks if they felt steam rolled?
For your information we've done this before in the past when both forces showed up around the same time and it was CLEAR that we were going to be ready long before the other group. I have yet to hear gripe one from these bards.
If you want to go on about ass jackery and steam rolling you should keep your own house a bit cleaner before slamming someone else - when you werent there and im willing to bet you havent spoken to anyone in Huntress Lair. The only time ive ever personally observed a flat out obvious incident of spawn stealing were it was totally clear who that mob belonged to (it was a triggered quest mob) it involved someone wearing an Ixtlan tag.

Most of our Knights, ect have these or Narandis for this very reason. I realize that for someone who extorts FOH for 4 copies of Ageolism, thats probably kind of gimpy, but considering our goals are lower than Ixtlans, thats not too shabby a deal. The epics, White Dragon Cloaks, and Res sticks aren't exactly a bad deal either.devereaux wrote:Maybe if they ever installed a "Best of the Best Kunark Dragon Slayers Contest" you (Jice or Jezebelle) could rise to the occasion and be 'The Man', but until then why don't you take all that cash from your Naggy and Vox runs, buy yourself a windblade, and contribute more to Rizz's xp group than a bag of hot air could.

Sarg its called an analogy. Ixtlan needed Ageolism and had crowns, something FOH didnt want to screw around with getting. By the same token, we have white scales, ect and guilds with Windblades and Narandis dont want to bother with these mobe. Same thing on a smaller scale. Devereaux has a slight reality impediment when a mirror is held up to him is all.

Yeah we asked for 4 gaego scrolls; in hindsight it was probably a bad leadership decision, but we were aggressively trying to make our guild better. Now tell me, what have you done to make your guild better? By farming Naggy/Vox every chance you get? Christ, you people have more CoF's than Sleestakk could ever dream of during the Melafen era.Jice Virago wrote:Most of our Knights, ect have these or Narandis for this very reason. There are level 1 trade gimps in the bazaar that have seen more content than your guild. Sad, but true. Who's fault is this? As leader, you take the blame. You make the decision to bulldoze your way through stuff that's 3 years old and then write about it on your frontpage as if you had done it out of beta. OMG u r0><0rss!!!1! Newsflash boy wonder, people get sick of killing the same gay preKunark shit every week! Get a fucking sack and start to lead your guild, or did you guys buy PoP for the portal system?

Have you ever led a guild? Do you know even 5 people from The Corps? I'm guessing the answer is "No" to both questions. Each person plays this game for a different reason. You are no person to tell them how to play the game.Kaluden Stormblade wrote:There are level 1 trade gimps in the bazaar that have seen more content than your guild. Sad, but true. We recruited a bunch of new people that need gear. And were a mid Velious Guild at best, as everyone damn well knows. If it will make your pecker seem bigger in the mirror, I have no problem saying yeah we are not uber. Until we get those new people geared, trained, and leveled, POP means dick to us.
Not that this has anything to do with a 41st level rogue twink of a 52 druid in a guild we share underwear with we are so close pissing and moaning about a Nag that sat up 5 days is beyond me, but hey I guess Ixtlan never bottom feeds because they are so l33t.

First, yes I do know what goes into leading a guild. My friends and I started a Ixtlan almost two years ago, we've seen it grow
Second, yes I know 5 people from The Corps. Before and after his ex officers started calling him an asshole.
I'm calling him on his bullshit, how is that telling him how to run his guild?

Jice its called you are being a fucking idiot. Ixtlan needed Ageolism and had crowns, something FOH didnt want to screw around with getting. But not by the same token, and has nothing to do with this. You like to slap an ub3r mob from 3 YEARS AGO onto your front page, bragging that you can take them out with a number you can count on your hands. Not to mention bragging how you beat another guild to him. Speaking of the part of a smaller scale, everything you will do will always be a smaller scale than Ixtlan or any other guild. Devereaux has a good taste of reality, period.Jice Virago wrote:Sarg its called an analogy. Ixtlan needed Ageolism and had crowns, something FOH didnt want to screw around with getting. When I look back and remember the Corps, all I'm going to remember is you farming Naggy/Vox, 3 years later, and bragging about it. Smaller scale indeed.

So by your logic Sarg, Ixtlan has never farmed mobs well below your ability and I should be zoning my new people into TOVN in the crap gear they were recruited in. Not everyoe enjoys the cockblock fest that is the high end game on this server, and for my crew its not the most entertaining use of our time. Please, lets be realistic here, Corps has never been an envelope pushing guild ever, and for that matter neither has Ixtlan, but you don't see COE, CD, or CT people comming here rubbing out a stiff one saying "haha joo ixtlan gimps, your still farming TOVN from two expansions ago" so cut us some slack.

You fucking tard, we haven't been in NTOV since before PoP went live. I understand the concept of old content being useful, but you go too far back, to serve no purpose other than to put something in your pocket, and to shove it down the throat of those that can't do it themselves, or are too slow to.
Grow up.

Killing Vox so he can help equip an ally guild with epics is leading his guild. It's called building up your strength so you can move on to new content. Vox is up more than Gore, and those are the only two places to find white scales. Which would you take?
But I guess I shouldn't be telling a member of Ixtlan what gearing up is, since you know all-to-well how to gear your members up so they can join CoE/CD and FoH.

And you used to be in Whispers of Bulivyf. What's your point?Cartalas wrote:He use to be in ROW though
My point in this whole thread was that members of any guild but The Corps do not have the right to tell Jice that he's wasting his members' time. They like killing Vox and Naggy, that's their business. It also keeps a steady flow of free epics, free cloaks, and guild funds. Staying out of the top of the game also keeps them away from the training, KSing, and arguing that is Veeshan. That in itself is worth it.
Awww, poor Vet. You still have all that angst against Ixt from the zland thing? Keep on defending Jice, it does wonders for your reputation.
Well, it's still better then not gearing up at all, which is what your old guild was quite proficient in. You should know, you were one of their leaders. What happened to make you leave RoW? Let me guess, you are looking for a new guild eh? Hypocracy at it's finest folks.
Thanks for skooling us on what is going on. You know so much about moving on to new content. It's called building up your strength so you can move on to new content.

1. I have no angst against anyone. That's not the point of any of my posts in this thread.Xyun wrote:Awww, poor Vet. You still have all that angst against Ixt from the zland thing? Keep on defending Jice, it does wonders for your reputation.
2. I'm not defending Jice. I'm pointing out that no person outside The Corps has the right to tell Jice that he's leading his guild the wrong way. Obviously he doesn't think so, and more importantly, his members don't think so otherwise they wouldn't be there.
When I joined RoW, we were whiping to two PoZ's in Kael arena. When I left RoW, we were successfully raiding NToV. I would say over a year's time, that's not too bad in gearing up. But good job trying to bring RoW into this thread!Xyun wrote:Well, it's still better then not gearing up at all, which is what your old guild was quite proficient in. What happened to make me leave RoW is no one's business but mine and the officers of RoW. I have not, and do not plan on applying for any other guild.
