There is a problem with people duping gold/items , it was in a major disucssion on the wow boards today before the site went down, or at least it wont load for me anymore. They are asking for rollbacks and shit.

Ya, the ones asking for a rollback are under lvl 20. Heh.

Doing a rollback is pointless at this point. The dupers probably already sold it for real cash. Doing a rollback will not affect them, only the buyer.

Ohh well. People are just overreacting.

Its a fake and has been confirmed. The screenshot when zoomed it clearly shows how fake it is.

Since it's been 'fixed', here's exactly how shitheads were duping gold.

[hide]a. Player 1 hands player 2 a large amount of gold

b. Player 1 goes into the instance. If the bug works, he/she will get kicked back out after a delay.

c. Player 1 will have the original amount of gold he had before he traded and player 2 will still have the traded gold he received as well. [/hide]

Pretty lame but not really surprising.

I heard it wasn't just a gold dupe, but a full inventory. Either way, pretty fucking stupid.

What's old is new again. It's like the old EQ dupes. Almost all of them revolved around zoning and/or death.
