Yes in the fact that it is the last BIG game of the season opposing the best 2 team of the league.
No because It's not as popular and mediatised like the superbowl where companies pay millions of dollars to produce commercials just for the half time show.
All NFL teams are bigger, faster, and more talented on the whole than CFL teams. Basically, NFL teams would line it up and run 'em off the field.
Lots of college teams could do that as well, of course not all college teams are created equal.
Pretty simple really. The lines of U.S. teams are so much faster, bigger, and more talented that the CFL teams couldn't compete physically.
NFL teams are a lot bigger, and the bigger guys have more speed than the CFL players do. I do believe that an NFL team would beat a CFL All Star Team (probably pretty badly) but some of that would depend on the rules.
CFL's longer, wider field; the fact that they only use 3 downs instead of 4; the rules about being a yard off the line of scrimmage and backfield motion; and the 20 sec play clock would mean some major adjustments to an NFL team. Not to mention that the CFL does award single points for a punt or missed field goal going through an endzone.
As for Voro's statement about college teams, if these were all Canadian college players I might agree, but most CFLer's ARE American college players, with a couple more years of experience and size...

Yeah... the NFL team would have to make adjustments. But on botht sides of the ball the lineman will be faster and bigger. This game would be won in the trenches, offensively they'd just grind 'em to dust, defensively the NFL lineman would just blow the offensive guys off the ball... killing the poor CFL skill players in the backfield. The wider field might even be an advantage to the faster NFL players (able to get around the corner easier). Oh well, it really is apples and oranges, if a lineman could play in the NFL he pretty much will get the opportunity at least to try. Fast 300+ pound guys don't necessarily grow on trees, hehe.
An old sports coach once told me, "Big fast guys will usually beat little fast guys."
i think miami could beat Montreal perhaps. it may be a competitive game at least.
they are more talented at QB, RB, DE, DT, WR, OL than Montreal. Certainly Montreal has more experience and probably some physical size advantages due to guys in college not being fully grown/ physically developed.
that being said, players who play in the CFL may tend to be ones that arent good enough for NFL Europe or perhaps even Arena Football. it isnt like the CFL is one notch down from the NFL.
players who didnt make the NFL go to NFL Europe first, because those teams are actively scouted and invested in by the NFL.

Ohh and yeah Voronwe the guy (from work) also stated that a college team might be able to beat a CFL team..
But what i want to know is why?
Give me good reasons why you think said College team would win?!
Well, the NFL has 10x the home grown population to work with to gather talent. Also the lowest paid player in the NFL probably makes a comparable salary to our highest paid players. And in the US, football is an actual supported sport which people are encouraged to play. It isn't a very popular one in Canada. Not many universities or colleges have a football team. I am not even aware of any amateur football leagues here on the west coast.
I prefer the ruleset to CFL over the NFL. CFL is a much faster game and it's more interesting for me to watch than a lot of fat millionaires standing around a field for 10 minutes at a time. Even though the talent pool is a lot smaller (generally the best of hte best CFL players go to the NFL to become mediocre players), I would rather watch it over the commercial-fest that is the NFL.
CFL is more like a job for people who are pretty good at football. It's pretty low rung. CFL loses a lot of players to other sports industries. I know the WWF recruits a lot of potential wrestlers from the CFL because I know a guy who is a talent scout for the WWF who's job is to look at all the players in the CFL.
