Sorry call me n00b for lack of information. When I logged onto Lynnsie this afternoon, a pop-up screen came up with the options to vote for the new server name...

Phara Dar

or maybe something else, I didn't really look passed those 3 because I already knew I was voting Veeshan. But you should see it when you log into the game. Sorry

Will the additional option of Phara Dar help or hurt Veehsan's chances? Voro, put some CNN analysts on this ASAP!

considering people on Luclin probably never even solved the Trakanon Idol quest, i'm guessing it will not steal votes from their base.

I am hopeful that a lot of the Luclin shitbags will want to rebrand themselves to Veeshan though.

Read on EQ forums that the polls are set to run for a week, so probably end of next week we *may* see voting results. 4 votes from my house though, hopefully we'll get what we want.

I talked to a few people in my guild and they surprisingly selected Phara Dar where I expected them to select their home server of Luclin.

If we get enough of these people voting, Veeshan should win for sure.

Anything that takes votes away from Veeshan will hurt the chances of Veeshan wining. Just vote Veeshan.

The Phara Dar option fucked Veeshan's chances. It's a lock that more Luclin fags voted for Phara Dar instead of their server than Veeshanites voting for an alternate name. If not given the alternate option, a few more of the brighter Luclin players would have voted Veeshan.
