The kid had no reason to be on national news. Any kind of rational editor would realise this within the first phone call to Crook.

The think that irks me is that they used him and his misguided notions and turned it into a patriotic american chest beating.

Frankly, that was more a fanfare of assholes than actual news.

obviously Hannity could not have scripted it any better. i'm sure the operators at FNC headquarters had the phone lines buzzing like crazy with viewers calling for this guys blood to flow.

call him what you will, but Sean Hannity knows exactly what kind of media persona his listeners and viewers idolize, and he wears that image like its his own skin.

He created a website (http://www.forsakethetroops.info) that insulted the individual soldiers in the armed forces. I think, though I didn't follow the story too closely, is that he disliked how much money was spent on the military, and blamed the individual troops for the 'wasted money'. That's about all there is to that story, kind of a waste of airtime. He is a total idiot, though; I'm surprised he had enough intelligence to host a website.
