Naruto Mess Up?

Did anyone who watch this weeks episode of Naruto think they messed up when they showed orochimaru in his previous form?

Shouldn't he be in his new body for 3 years until he transfers to Sasuke?

Even though this story isn't following the manga, shouldn't they still be trying to keep everything the same as the anime and manga?

he changes his body into that form...similar to how Tsunade masks her age(using a form of Genjutsu or illusionary technique)...they explain it a bit better in the manga i believe...it also has to do with the coruption that orichimaru brings into the new host body as well; crazy vague weird shit if you ask me

i don't remember reading anything about that in the manga, but i didn't start reading the manga till late anyway.. i remember tsunade mentioning the jutsu to stay beautiful, but i guess if you figure orochimaru knows nearly every forbidden jutsu like he claims then i guess it makes sense. i was assuming that the clip shown of the fuuma clan in orochimaru's hideout was only a week or so after sasuke got there, figured they would have put a blip in somewhere of him reverting back, since the manga isn't there to explain everything anymore, they have to describe a bit more.

Ochimaru is cool but Hinata would kick his ass!! Too bad they havent had her in the anime for the last 76 years.
