Roman candles never killed anyone.

(Not that I have any proof of that though)

Heh, those pussies. A real fireworks fight needs 50 count batteries of Saturn Missles to be tossed as well.

I miss fireworks wars...:)

I used to use a 4 inch PVC pipe shoulder fired (I had a steel jacket over the "magazine area" to prevent pipe shatter with pistol grips). The ammo was 1/2 gross of bottle rockets per salvo prewrapped to custom configuration ignited by a butane charging chamber with an electric igniter from a fireplace lighter. I used to light some motherfuckers up...

Yup, those are the Saturn Missles all right. :) It is like a delayed-fire Claymore Mine, I tell ya.

Back in Arkansas, we would get in teams of 5 or 6 at either end of an open-ended breezeway at our school (at night, of course). There were 2 door-indentions midway across that made for excellent bunkers.

The Saturn Missles made for the best projectiles due to their noisy and random projectiles. Light and throw towards other team--quite amusing. The classic paper-wrapped 12er of bottle rockets was the best budget pick. M-80s, M-60s, etc were not allowed (duh).

Yeah, it was stupid shit to do, but at least everyone wore protective eyewear and there was always an extinguisher handy....oddly enough, it was never needed.

I think the next funny and dumb thing I was privy to was when I was a ski-tech in Newport Beach during high school. My coworker and I decided it would be fun to apply base cleaner(white camping fuel) to his shoes, light them on fire and let him dance around a bit for reasons that I cannot recall.

Needless to say he ended up with a couple blisters and we had to quickly clean up chemical extinguisher from the shop before someone found out what happened. ;)[/quote]
