/sigh ... faction stealing

I know I never post here (/hides) but I just discovered that I can't complete the 8th shawl due to being KoS to the dain (also found out a friend "borrowed" my enchanter to kill him a few times ... grrr)

...

Anyway, are any guilds killing Tormax that wouldn't mind a faction stealing enchanter along

You can also do a few relatively easy quests (turn in swords or toes or helms, etc.) which will raise faction with the Dain. Check Alakazam's etc.

or you can simply hang out at the Tormax bridge with an xp group.

a few of the giants from that castle give +dain hits

I don't think any guild would mind you hanging around for a faction hit as long as you don't train them geting there or something.

Nods, most guilds dont mind people leaching faction as long as youre polite, cooperative and obey orders properly while youre there. Its very important for your presence to be totally hassle-free for the guild killing Tormax, or you'll wear out your welcome, and fast. Anyone know how many tormaxes it takes to go from max kos to max ally btw?

No idea how big the quest hits or the tormax bridge hits are, but you can try it and find out if youre in a hurry, and dont want to spend several weeks on tormax leaching.

The hits from Dliamaz are fairly substantial. I was max KOS to dain at one point then a few dozen Dliamaz (and more of his PH) kills later I was back to indiferent. Rest of the mobs behind him that give the faction +Dain are pretty deap for an XP group to reath though.

i had this problem too, and i tried all the little quests but the hits are tiny. tormax bridge didn't work for me either... my faction didn't budge until a couple of hits from tormax, then i was un-kos with collaboration and turned in giant helms.

I have started spending time at the tormax bridge (for one who guy that gives dain faction ... gah) but its a start! Haven't tried Dlammaz yet, but revenge is definitely in order

But still looking to grab faction if someone wouldn't mind

Will mgb kei, shiss, tash and nuke lots!

yeah if the people can't kill dlammaz at the bridge there, then it isnt worth your time cause

1. his hits are substantial
2. they obviously lack the firepower to mow through mobs, hence move your faction anywhere worth a shit.
