Some ok action scenes, thats about it. Felt like half the movie was cut out. Still worth seeing in the theater IMO...

I didn't hate it, but I am fascinated with that area and it's history so it tickled me. Plus I love to laugh at the rediculousness of the "Christians". Right at teh climax of the movie the actual film reel turned into shit on ours and everything turned blueish and we couldn't hear any audio in 3-5 second chunks. Luckily it's a historical(ish) film so it's not like I didn't know the ending... Hooray free passes

i was pretty upset, i expected better from ridley scott...the plot did feel like it had a huge hole in it, yet the cinemetography of course was great....and orlando bloom played the same exact character he played in every other movie hes been in

haha, i was in the same theater as you then. jordon landings, the 7pm show?

it didn't suck but wasn't great. the movie failed to gain any momentum and Tyek was right, i think half the movie was just cut out. i'd give it a 6.5 out of 10.

Why not mix all the battlefield scenes together from LOTR 3, Troy, This movie and Alexander the great and leave out all the rest.

Just one big skirmish!

Let George Lucas add some new scenes with new actors and after buying the ticket you get Age of Empires fer free at the booth

in order to make a good alexander the great movie that isnt 9 hours long you need to do it about a specific campeighn, not his entire fucking life

Besides being reminded every 5 minutes how much Big Gay Al loves teh cack, the fact that the producers fucked up and lost 2 weeks of footage when they inadvertantly allowed some of their stuff to be Xrayed at the airport also played a part in how shitty Alexander was.

While watching it I had a lot of Gladiator flashbacks. Not that great of a movie in my opinion.

I just realized that I really do like this movie. I often put the movie in when I don't feel like watching much else and still find myself captivated by it. I did a search to see if there was a thread on this movie and in that search I found a comment made by Zamtuk about Dreamers with Eva Green. I, being of the perverse mind, looked her up on the celeb nude site and found a bunch of clips from this movie. Holy shit this girl has a nice body.

Yeah, after Casino Royale I looked her up and was pleasantly shocked to find Dreamers. Not too often you'll find a mainstream actress show everything.
