miir and I are best friends.
Doh! That's nice sylvus but does the image have to be boxed in like that?
The other margin fixes I've seen have displayed the entire picture (not boxed in like above) but all text remains formatted to fit the width of the screen.
Like this:
http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=8 ... ge=3&pp=20
(open that page and then scroll down to a large image and watch the text reconfigure to the window size as your make it larger or smaller but the image scrolls off the page)
It's kind of odd having a wide screen setup but the image window being restricted to the skinny width. I was more thinking the text be restricted to window width like the link above but the image completely displayed but requiring a smaller window to scroll to see the image. Can that be switched?
Nice work no matter what!

Box does look strange at 1920x1200...
Actually I'm going to ammend my post to ask that we remove this mod and look for something else. The picture thing is fine but it's basically picking a fixed limit of text as well. The text should flow to the edge of the browser window. As it is now I have 8 inches of blank space at the edge of every post. Wasteful!

That was probably because it wasn't set up for your particular resolution, so it was defaulting to 800x600. Oh well, it's gone now.Aslanna wrote:Box does look strange at 1920x1200...

I like the thumbnail one sylvus : )
Your skillz are appreciated! That's going to be great for things like comicbook covers. I can link a larger image and don't need to worry about resizing it although still giving the viewer the opportunity to see more detail if desired. I think most people don't really want to link mammoth images here but have no time to resize them.
Edit: Wow nice job on the thumbnail mod. I resized my window but didn't refresh the page so the image didn't expand at first to take advantage of the extra width. This rocks. Perfect.
I have added you to my friends list because of this. I hope the
