Baseball Jersey Numbers

Post by XunilTlatoani »

Does anyone know of a good reference where you can view who wore a specific jersey number on an MLB team throughout that team's history? Basically what I want to be able to do is look for all the players that have ever worn a specific jersey number for that team.

TIA if you can find it.

I have never seen such a site and/or list for the teams I have researched, though that information can sometimes be derived from lists on team alumni sites.

BTW, what team and number were you interested in?

I was going to get matching Cubs jersey's for the wife and I with no names and the date of our anniversary as the numbers. So, one would have 6 and the other would have 20. I know 20 is Corey Patterson's current number, but I was just curious who might have worn 6 in the past for the Cubs.

Regardless, we scrapped that idea and opted to get an LCD monitor instead :P
