Well, generally, i think auctions are good, where you can sometimes find the things you are looking for , for a decent price (usually).

You might find old and discontinued items that are no longer for sale in stores etc, that you want.

Old antiques as well.

Generally, i think auctions = good.

Often one can find good deals on cars, trucks and minivans at police auctions. :)

The reason for this acution being in general discussion is because it is the board with most traffic. Then you say well if people are looking to buy something they will look under that topic. Although, what if someone isnt looking to buy that item . . . and they have never heard of it, and it catches their eye and they are interested. Its happened to me before . . .

Also, under the topic of General Discussion:

"No holds barred discussion."

Well I would like to discuss me selling these.
