You can't help but buy the hype.
that hook was planted when we were children.
Lucas is a branding and marketing genius. An absolute genius at both. He has had solid control over the Star Wars brand and cultivated it over a quarter century into an industry that has reached over $10 Billion.

I believe, since it's going to be done by Lucasfilm, and since it is rumored to take place between Ep3 and Ep4, it will be considered canon.
That said, Lucas is a nut and who knows!

I admit, the saber spoons have me intrigued. They caused me to pick up a box of Frosted Flakes instead of possibly Honeycombs this weekend to try for the green one and complete the Red/Green/Blue collection.
Anyone else notice that the saber colors are RGB just like video signals? Genius!

Does that mean if we collect enough of them we can build a gigantic television set?

No, but I'm betting during some heavy saber battles in Episode three that there will be some subliminal McDonalds Quarterpounder images being created with all the colors flashing around.

Reading the Kevin Smith spoilers, I got chills just visualizing that final shot he describes. I am such a nerd...

I don't know if I will do the midnight thing...I waited in line for fucking hours for the Ep1 show in Van Nuys. I just can't be around star wars fans for that long anymore.

And you HAD to move for no chance of another night of bowling and drinking
Come back to CA some time and I'll drag my brother down from Mammoth.
Back on topic, not sure if I'll be buying midnight showing tickets, but Smith's review is making me seriously consider it.
