I figured this would be a good place to ask this question. I am looking for a way to rip a full CD into a single MP3 file. I hate having the pauses I get in a full CD of a trance mix or whatnot. Do you know of a program I can use to accomplish this? Also, is there a setting I need to use to get this accomplished? Please help.
Dude, check the options in your burning software. Those gaps are put in by default, but should be possible to remove. Also, I think some older CD-R's might have had those built in, so it could be a driver issue.
Download the shareware version of Cakewalk, rip the CD to WAV files, use Cakewalk to join them, then save the big WAV. Use something like WinAmp to convert to MP3.
