Xbox cable question

What do you call the dongle part that actually plugs into the Xbox, it is a oval 5 pin connector at the xbox side and a round ps2(that is PC like PS2 not the bloody playstation) size.

I have a bad one and want to replace it, but all the sites I find want me to order an entire new conrtoller for it.

Get a logitech wireless controller. Things f'n own big time. Got them for both my xbox and ps2.

Well the one I bought is used and came with 2 of the newer smaller controllers and both have like 8 foot extensions, but one of the dongle things that appears to called "Xbox Controller connector" ( like duh) is bad.
