Fantasy Football Week 11

Post by Bubba Grizz »

All I can say for the owners of McNabb, Maddox, and Greise is, "HOLY SHIT What do you do now!?" If you are in a small league you shouldn't have much trouble replacing them but if you are in a big league like mine the pickings are slim. Here are some options for you. The Jets QB, Pennington, threw for 4 TD's this week and Kurt Warner should be getting the nod next week, benching Bulger.

This late in the Fantasy Football season those injuries can really shake up the league standings. I am not sure how things will turn out in my league but I have Gannon and I am on top atm. I hope to stay there.

I had just traded Plaxico Burress for Tony Gonzalez prior to this weekend, too. I have Hines Ward as well, so I needed to ditch a Pittsburgh receiver.

McNabb is a badass, reminded me of Emmitt's performance against Philly when he played with a separated shoulder.

I think what happened to Tommy Maddox is a real shame, whether or not you had him as your primary QB. I hope his injuries aren't career ending, although I figure he'll be out the rest of the season.

I did well, but not as well as I could have, due to some upsets. Donald Driver did well for me (finally) despite the Packers losing. Plaxico Burress didn't perform that well, but that's to be expected. Thankfully I have backup receivers to replace him.

I'm good on QBs too, if my main QB (Peyton Manning) gets injured. What I am worried about is RBs. I have only one backup, and that's Jerome Bettis. Sure, he's a great player when he's not injured, but with Maddox out, I wonder how many carries the Bus will get.

My season is fucked. I had BOTH McNabb as my starter and Maddox as my backup. And I'm in a 12 team league, so there is like nothing available for QB. I have no idea what I'll do now, guess I'll wait until tomorrow to see how the week ended up. Go Isaac Bruce!

broke my losing streak with a 40+ point victory romp.

Tied for fourth, back in the running for playoffs....and still ahead of every team in the league in points by about 80 points.

And I still think football is overrated.

Pick up steve Beuerlein if you are desperate. I think he will actually put up better numbers than griese did. He wasn't that bad in Carolina and they had no running game there. I grabbed him real quick and plan to ride on him next week.

Well Maddox is alive and semi-well but they are not saying when or if he will be back in the huddle.

Had McNabb in my starting lineup. I have Jeff Garcia on my bench, so I should come out ok. I will really miss McNabb though.
