Classes
Just bought the game today and was wondering which classes seem to be lacking. I was thinking about creating a Tauren druid with Restoration since I played a druid back in EQ. If servers have 1000 of them runing around though, I'm going to create something else.
Any suggestions?

Druids are a very useful class, doesn't seem too popular for some reason. Don't know when they hit the power curve, they're somewhat painful at lower levels. They're hybrids if you didn't know, handy but not really good at any one thing.
More useful class than an EQ dr00d was, though they weren't bad played well.

If you play a druid and play it well you can be very important at higher levels. They seem to be a good PvP class from my experience in fighting them and they get animal forms which help on attack and speed. I've got a low level druid and he is pretty fun to play so far, not sure I like him as much as my shaman but I'm more of a melee guy anyway.

The cool thing is that you can respec at any time... it just keeps costing more money. But if you speced for soloing a fighting up to your mid-50s then you can respec then for 1g and go restoration.
I'm not sure how much it goes up each respec but you might ask Arundel. He respecs his mage every couple of days

Ok. Thats one thing I wasnt sure about. I asked a co-worker and he was saying the opposite of everyone else, but I can't blame him, he's a newb when it comes to MMORPGs.
At first, I read its 1gp to unlearn, now, is that to unlearn every talent point you put in (eg, if I have 30 points in restoration, I can pay the 1gp to replace my 30 points)? Or is that to only 'unlearn' 1 talent point leaving me with 29 to go?

I currently am playing a Feral Spec Druid. Personally I am loving it because of all the options I have. Yeah we aren't the best at any one thing but we aren't meant to be. Groups tend to use Druids as their primary healer when they can't find a priest.
Druids get one of the best buffs in the game that comes in really handy.
Switching into different forms is great. I get into a lot of areas due to my cat form able to prowl (stealth). The bear is great if you need to tank.
Today they are making things better for Druids in the patch.
There aren't a whole lot of Druids in the game because Rogues and Shaman tend to be more popular.
I guess the key factor to the Druid is it's versatility. We may not put out the big damage like other classes but we tend to live through situations that others would die in. I like being the last one standing.
