Such hostility in EQ2 players. I don't really understand it. But whatever makes you happy I guess.

Edit: Sony strikes again.

Ever corner an animal? And they start growling or hissing and trying to be mean?

Why your link pointing to an ad?

Anyway, I don't think anything SOE will do will pull any significant number of people into EQ2 much less away from WoW.

I have a question about this topic (not a flame). Everyone talks about which is better and how to define that term whether it be amount of profit, amount of players, buggs, competition ect.

If someone added up all the players or accounts on EQ1 and EQ2 and compaired them to WOW, what would the results be? I ask the question like this because I assume that sony is trying to market both of the games, and did not merge and have no plans to stop one of them. I also group them together to compair the styles of games together.

There are several ways to twist this compairision also by compairing all of blizzard's games to all of sony's games. It would also be interesting to know how many actual players the accounts represented. I know myself I owned 2 accounts, but I did know several other players that owned multiples.

One could also then argue whether owning several accounts of the same game makes it a "better" game. Is it better because it brings more money to the maker or worse because it means the game is so easy you have to play more charactures to make it worth it?

EQ1 had at one time about half a million but I think it's down to like 200K, and EQ2 has 300K where as WoW already has over a million.

Nice to see EQ2 has barely as many subscribers as DAoC. Give it a couple months and I bet you'll see EQ2 figures drop while WoW will continue to grow.

Only thing that chart proves is that millions of people will play a shitty game.

...your game is better than my game. What are you trying to accomplish with this forum? Are you SOE's messiah? We supposed to follow you to the promised land that is EQ2?

Let me ask you this: Can I kill player-controlled elves and paladins on a daily basis there? (I hate elves and paladins!)
If the answer is "no" then please take the jewel case your copy of EQ2 came in, and deposit said container directly up your ass.

Remove your lips from Sony's cock, fanboy.
