I've painted the picture numerous times. You can't see it okay? Take a retard to the Louvre and expect him to get the underlying meaning of the many works of art there. You can explain it all day and night and they still think it's you who haven't explained it well enough because they can't comprehend it.
Oh the "I told you but the deeper meaning to this is hidden to you because your mind is not developed enough to understand." argument.
Really come on you can do better than that. I can explain why it's a bad idea, I'm sure you can explain why it would be a good idea.
Kelshara wrote:Why I (and well, the people who did the research and wrote the stories about it) consider the Iraqi plans as more than contingency plans? Well, the fact that Bush wanted (and made it no secret to his staff) to attack Iraq from the moment he stepped into the White House is one thing. The fact that the first thing Rumsfeld said after 9/11 was "Iraq" is another.
The way I understand a contingency plan is "A plan that will be used in case something happens in the future". The way the Iraqi plans were was "A plan to attack Iraq which will be implemented as soon as we can find a reason to do it".
Subtle difference, yet it is there.
Oh yeah and what was it Rummy said again? That he didn't care if Iraq was responsible he wanted to attack them anyway? Not in those words but close enough.
There is no subtle difference at all. That's just your wishful thinking.
When the invasion was decided upon, guess what... they take out the contingency plan, make any last minute updates based on intel, and go with it.
President Bush didn't have some gilded box with a special set of 'How I'm going to invade Iraq' plans.
It has been proven that they had plans to attack Iraq and wanted to do so. But if you feel better living in your ignorant little world with your "I LOVE BUSH!" shirt then feel free. I prefere reality.

There's the problem right there. You DON'T know shit!
Short of Bush coming out on TV and saying "Once I won the presidency, I said to myself tha6t the USA will invade IRAQ no matter what happens."....you will never know anything. To presume so, makes you not a good judge of reality.
Profess ignorance before you profess all knowledge. It's a win/win every fuckign time.
Holy crap you got riled up didn't you? Never seen that many spelling mistakes from you in my life. Which made your rambling even more.. rambling heh.
I have never claimed to know everything, but this is hardly a secret. It was discussed here plenty of times in the past and has been documented as well. Of course, you still buy the WMD argument don't you?
Come on mid... negatives are not acceptable proof. Kinda like saying we have no evidence that you never beat your wife. Doesn't mean you do, doesn't mean you don't. Doesn't mean much of anything.
Also, we DO know that Iraq had WMD's at the time of the first gulf war. But the UN inspections that we put in place after the war destroyed most, if not all, of them. While I wouldn't be surprised to find a few cases where Saddam managed to hide away some WMD's, he no longer was able to support a program under the glaring lights of the UN. In any case, another fact is that there are NO major WMD locations to be found in Iraq now, nor were there when we invaded.
WMD's in Iraq are a lark (lie?) perpetuated by our government to sway public opinion. Nothing less, nothing more. Unfortunately it has resulted in a war where both US soldiers and Iraqi civilians lives are constantly under attack. And for what... a CHANCE at a long term western friendly government. What a failure of judgement.
Midnyte_Ragebringer wrote:There has been no evidence not to believe Iraq had WMD's.
Agreed... and while we're at it I think I should note that there has been no evidence that purple martians will not give me 50,000 dolllars next year and grant me 3 wishes.
Why is it that everytime someone starts talking about something that hasn't a thing to do with President Bush, you turn it into a rant about President Bush?
You have some serious issues with that hatred Kelshara.
Being ignorant is refusing to accept reality, and apparently when you get reality shoved down your throat, you regurgitate the mindless drone comments like

If you don't like it here in the United States, and you can't handle the fact that there are people who have a different opinion than you, then GTFO... Go find some other country who's teat you can suckle.
heh seems like you are the one who can't handle that other people have different opinions (not to matter handle that you are wrong). But you are in good company, say hello to Midnyte!
That said, I responded to a quote by Midnyte that was wrong. But I guess that your companions can never be wrong so it has to always be the other side, eh? You are such a good little Republican!
Oh and I have no plans of staying here Have no fear of that.

You just seem to be vapor locked by your hatred of President Bush. It appears in almost every post you make.
Oh, and for the record... I am not affiliated with any political party...

Hehe, what's with the American deal that you *have* to be a card carrying member of a party to be affiliated with them?
The whole mass registration of party voters is so anti-democratic I don't understand how ya'll are so comfortable with it.
That said, those that aren't registered and don't know they're partisan are a great source of amusement.

he appointed FUCKING WOLFOWITZ, that alone should state his intentions, Wolfowitz's only goal in life since he was about 7 years old has been to invade iraq.

Clinton balanced the budget, we would have all kinds of crazy money to "fix" things if we weren't so indebted to the second most powerful nation for no reason...
Ann C. needs to be committed, period. She is crazy and that has nothing to do with the fact that I disagree with 99% of what she says. That is because if I said the exact same thing but from a liberal point of view I would EXPECT that you would lock my ass up.
Don't defend someone who is crazy and stupid just because they tend to agree with a few of your ideas. She fell off the right side, just like there are people who fell off the left side. Both political spectrums have a few crazies. Just STFU and admit she is a freak and lets all move on.

So free speech is on applicable to those defaming the Government when Republicans are in office? So free speech is only applicable to those who hold your point of view? Very disheartening.
Where do you see him saying that she shouldn't be allowed free speech??Get some glasses or "hooked oh phonics" man. He said just admit that she is a wacko, which she clearly is.

Are your comprehension skills really that bad?
Mid, I used to think that you were just acting like a complete retard to elicit responses from people. It's becoming more and more obvious that it's not an act.

Where did anyone say that Coulter should be stifled?
Where does anyone imply that her right to free speech be taken away?

Liberal: The sky is blue.

Miir........*sigh*.....see the part up there with she needs to be committed? Sound like stiffling to you? Wow. /boggle
Holy fuck man. READ!!! Read what people are saying. Stop being so biased against me and READ!!!
Mid, I didn't say she didn't have the right to free speech and I thought I made it pretty clear my opinion wasn't because of our divergent political views.
My point is that if anyone advocated some of the things she does, FROM EITHER political spectrum I believe that they are off their rocker and shouldn't be placed on a pedistal for people to listen too. In some ways Moore gets close but he has never gone as far as to advocated personal violence against fellow Americans because he disagrees with them, at least not to my knowledge... that's usually a right-wing nutjob idea but if some liberal advocated it, like say a PETA member, I would say they were off their rocker as well.
We ALL need to be a little more towards the middle. People like Ann Coulter and her opposites on the left are what keep this country in a tizzy for no freakin' reason most of the time.
Midnyte_Ragebringer wrote:If you don't advocate silinecing her freedom of speech then you shouldn't be so eager to lock her up.
You said it. Admit it. Then we can move on.
Thinking someone is mentally unstable is not the same as saying their constitutional rights should be taken away.
Nobody has said that Coulter should be 'silineced'.
Let me try to put it in simpleton terms you might understand.
If someone was to say 'fuck muslims!' on this forum would it be reasonable to suggest that that person condones, promotes and partakes in the genocide of muslims?
I've got 99 problems and I'm not dealing with any of them - Lay-Z
Mid, when I said she should be comitted or locked up I was using that metaphorically. While I do think she is unstable, just from what I've seen and read from her, it would take her actually acting on those or saying that she was going to act on some of her statements in order to "lock her up."
What I'm trying to say is that America needs to get her and those like her, on both sides, to STFU but NOT listening to them, NOT buying their books, or watching their movies. Let her talk all she wants, it's her freedom, we just don't have to listen to her.
The problem with extremists like her is that people like Midnyte will eat everything she says for breakfast. No different than the followers of certain religious nutcases.

Being registered (or not) with a particular party isn't really that big of a deal. You certainly don't have to vote for that party if you are registered with them. All it does that I can think of off the top of my head is give you the ability to vote in their primary (varies some from state to state I believe as to the exact conditions). That doesn't seem like that horrible of a restriction to say that you need to be registered with the party in order to participate in their selection of candidates (and in some states, it may not even be necessary, I think in some cases independents can vote in primaries, not sure though). .
Kelshara wrote:The problem with extremists like her is that people like Midnyte will eat everything she says for breakfast. No different than the followers of certain religious nutcases.
Wrong again. Seems to be a trend with you. If you go back read what I said earlier you will see that is not the case. Laughable how persistant and stubborn some of you lefties are. You just need people to fit in these nice little holes you have cut out for them.
You just can't comprehend that people aren't just one thing. They can be many things. You don't know everything. Stop presuming to.

michael moore does the same that (to a lesser extent) and we think hes a fucking moron....
going to extremes doesnt proove a point, Ann is probrably more helpful to a liberal cause as she tries to bring out the worst aspects of conservatism...hell even chubby little sean hannity in that clip was ducking in the corner asking himself "whens this crazy bitch going to shut up...this is embarassing"
