Oh how Vin has fallen.

The casting in this makes no sense.

I seen the trailer, the sad part is that the trailer actually dont look THAT bad. Believe me, judging from the trailer, il take this over Kindergarten Cop any day (wonder if Arnie are still trying to forget that one :))

Maybe a movie to see some sunday after waking up and wanting to do nothing.

I always hoped they'd remake Mr. Nanny!

One thing I don't understand... where are the black people? I thought hollywood had stopped making movies with white folks, and were simply remaking every moderately successful film of the last 30 years with an all new, hip cast of black people! Those blacks are so funny, with their hilarious cliches and 'jive" street talk! Bling bling!

Dont need to do remakes to put black people in roles thats not originally black.
Catwoman and Daredevil just to name 2.
Apart from sucking majorly, Michael Clarke Duncan actually did a good job as Wilson Fish (compared to just around every other actor in the movie). But Wilson Fish are still white in my eyes, changing his skin color removed some of his meanness somehow.

And Catwoman we should probably just try to forget. Taking a superhero/villain (depend on the story), where the origins are 100% decided over 30+ years of comics, and changing origin, power, skin color, and costume = VERY bad.
Gotta admire Halle for showing up to recieve her Razzie for it though, that was one cool move. If you havent heard that, look here:

Vin is learning what Eddie Murphy, Robin Williams, Steve Martin, and others know all too well... The real money is in family movies. It's guaranteed bank.

Yeah, that really bites. According to a soundbyte i heard from Ice (don't ask me where, been a couple weeks), they're going to go through xXx's like Bond goes through his little girltoys.

Samuel will be the only constant.

...granted, I'm fine with that, but I had hoped xXx was going to be a franchise character in and of himself.

I liked 'Pitch black', and I thought Vin was really good in 'Boiler Room' and 'Saving Private Ryan'. Although I never saw any of the lowered honda movies such as fast and furious or xxx or whatever, I think Vin may have gone a WEE BIT OVERBOARD, eh? :)

Hmm, XXX was nowhere near a lowered-honda movie. It was closer to a gritty bond movie.

Had some free passes to see it so I checked it out on the weekend.
It really wasn't as terrible as I expected it to be. A decent timewaster, good for a few laughs. Pretty predictable plotline... a surprising amount of violence (eventhough it was over-the-top, cartoonish violence) for a movie aimed at kids.
