Mafia - Second Game - OVER
Moderator: TheMachine
Hoarmurath is a little too nosy.
In the back room of the "Third Leg Phil" club, two men were talking over what should be done about the man who was asking questions around about their club. The club was a front for a money laundering scheme the Mafia were running.
"Boss, there has been a man pestering our patrons and getting a bit too nosy. "
"Really? What's his name?"
"Hoarmurath."
"In two hours I want to see his sorry butt sitting in that chair over there."
Hoarmurath was smoking outside with two of the patrons. He was asking the sort of questions that make patrons of "Third Leg Phil's" a bit uneasy. Things like "How many people do you see comming in and going out of the place?" and, "Have you seen anyone killed in 'Third Leg Phil's'?" The patrons for the most part had all seen someone killed but they knew better than to ever admit it. "Third Leg Phil's" was a place that was no stranger to death.
As fate would have it, the man who had sent out to find Hoarmurath walked outside the very moment he was there. It was simply a matter of a hook to his jaw and carrying him in a fireman's carry back to the back room.
"Ok boss, here he is."
"Damn you ARE good!"
"He should come to in a minute or two."
"Allright, prop him up in that chair."
Hoarmurath was propped up in the small metal chair. The chairs in this room typically had a very short lifespan, but were required to at least last through half of an 'Interview.'
The Mafia went into the closet in the back, and pulled out a nail gun.
"An excellent choice boss! Do you want to do the honors this time?"
"Yeah, it's been a while since I had some fun with someone like him."
Hoarmurath slowly opened his eyes to see that he was in a fluorescently lit white room. The room happened to be occupied by a gentleman in what looked to be an Armani suit. In the corner was a much larger man also wearing a nice suit, who looked like he would scare most bouncers.
"Son, why have you been bothering my patrons?"
"Mehhh, I don't know what-" Hoarmurath started, interrupted by a loud thunk, and an extreme shooting pain in his kneecap.
"Cut the crap bitch, show me your badge!"
"I'm just and ordi-" -THUNK- "AAAAHHHH FUCK!"
"My patience is running out. Now the next ones are going into your head. I will start at the top of your skull. They probably will not kill you immediately, but let's just put it this way: Every wrong answer is going to lower your IQ by about 10 points."
"AGHHHHH I JUST WANT TO LIVE, I'M NO-" -THUNK- Hoarmurath suddenly had an extreme headache. It was amazing he was still conscious considering the excruciating pain he was in.
"One more chance dude, next one will go in your eye and will probably kill you."
"OK YOU GOT ME I'M THE FUCKING MASTER SARGEANT DOWN AT THE POLICE STATION!"
"Time to die Detective."
The man holding the nail gun put it right to his face and pulled the trigger.
The large man standing in the corner with the amused look on his face searched Hoarmurath's pockets on the inside of his jacket. He found Hoarmurath's wallet.
"Well, where's his badge?"
The large man opened his wallet to find forty dollars in cash, a drivers license, and two credit cars. He then searched the rest of his pockets.
"No dice boss. Maybe he was sent by the Detective. "
"Well fuck, ok you know what to do with the corpse, send Jake in here to mop this all up."
RIP Citizen Hoarmurath

Day 6 Trial
Today I am only allowing one trial. In light of the thinning out of the mafia, I see no reason to speed up the killings of civilians.
-----
Sionisitc -
Sionistic is dragged from his apartment in the wee hours of the morning to appear before the jury today.
The Detective says:
Sionistic only posted one time during the whole game, and it was in reference to a death. He has tried his hardest to stay out of the public eye aside from that post. He is obviously still playing, but he has never voted. In light of the fact that most of the other guilty parties have been eliminated, and the fact that there are still two mafia, but only one death last night, he must be one of two people - Mafia or Detective. Allow me to remove all doubt in your mind that he is the Detective, leading us to the other option.
Bring him to swift justice folks, convict him, and we will have one less thing to worry about tonight.

Well Crap.
I went through the posts and destroyed my own theory.
There isn't a single post in the past few weeks not made on a Fri, Sat, or Sunday in between 2-10 (except one at 9:50 - will let that one slide).
Changing my vote to not guilty - sorry to get the train started on you, I jumped before doing the proper research.
Will edit post above.

Guilty, here's why.
Even if he IS working at the times he says he is (ok, plausable), that doesn't mean he can't PM in advance, or that his partner wasn't involved. Really, once you know you're not on trial you don't have to do a single thing whatsoever. Voting isn't required, posting isn't even mandatory outside of the 3 day rule. Hell, the only reason I'm posting now is because i'm stumped on a programming problem... For all we know, Sion could hav eordered the hit as soon as the two mafia members were put on trial last night.
Also, remember, we only had one kill last night - each team can only kill one person. Therfor, you can still say that Sion's mafia partner killed Hoara last night with no issue.
Even if he IS innocent, by executing him we actually increase your chances of survival. IE: 1 less mafia either halves a full team or eliminates one of the remaining teams -or- one less citizen increases the likilhood that Mafia(a) will kill Mafia(b) tonight.
Fry him. Every player on every side is benifited by the death of each other player. Citizenship, Detectives, Mafia. Every person that dies ona given day increases the odds that the mafia will kill each other before killing you.

I know I'm good at what I do, but I know I'm not the best.
But I guess that on the other hand, I could be like the rest.

I actually disagree with you akaran, but it is an interesting point.
Each innocent citizen that we kill, gives the mafia one less person to choose from when making their hits, therefore narrowing them down to the mafia.
I could see it both ways, but i'm trying my best to vote not guilty / guilty on the evidence I can find.

I thought you could, as long as you were playing the game. I never did because I was always in pm's with my partner tryin to figure out who to kill next, why and how. I'm sure if it's wrong Lohrno will let ya know
Edit: Damn Lohrno's a troll, I couldn't even finish typing before that question got answered.

Well, in that case, Im pretty convinced Akaran is Mafia, or else he would of been offed already.
And I think Canoe is a detective. Even though he was put up first for trial, so was Fash. They probably figured if one guy can get away with it, they would have a better chance to survive.
As for the mafia's partner, I can only make a complete guess, but I would bet its Moozilla.
I could be wrong, but if I die tomorrow, I'm pretty sure I was on the right track and you all must avenge me!!

Lynks, its probably not best to say who you think the detective is...
Also, there are two mafia out there, which means they don't necessarily have to be on the same team. They could be the halves of other teams.

Think about it, who voted Fash not guilty, Canoe, and Faerin as well. Its eitehr those 2 guys.
4 mafia down, and its down to 1 killing therefore its only one team or else they would be trying to kill each other too.
Edit: I know its not the best thinbg to say who the detective is, but Im pretty sure their is only one mafia team and I want to be able to survive this game so down with the law!

If I had to guess I'd say it'd be because the first two were citizens and they didn't want to waste a shot.
