Ok.. I left EQ1 a few years ago. From time to time I missed my friends and the awe from when I had first started playing and would activate my subscription. But alas, having spent too long away I was too far behind to catch up and rejoin my old friends. I did the beta thing in WOW.. I have much respect for how well WOW plays on marginal computers but it just did not do it for me. I subscribed to EQ2 and have had no major complaints other than if "feels" as if something is missing. After much reading I have high hopes for Vanguard.
Does anyone have an idea as to when this game is going live? I have heard rumors of a mid 2005 launch but nothing more firm. If anyone has any more detailed information I would love to hear it.
Thanks

It's still in Alpha. No beta announced as of yet. So doesn't look like anytime soon. I'd say mid-2005 would be pushing it.

Well, they're using the Unreal 2 engine, I think. The same one that Lineage 2 used. While L2's gameplay was utter ass, the graphics were fucking awesome. Here's hoping for gratuitous jiggling and pantyshots for Vanguard!
