Best WoW UI Mods + Scripts

I have been bvrowsing for some healing helpers and found some good ones. I was curious what people use on top of Cosmos to help in terms of macros, scripts, and UI mods.

I use TrackAssist, PetDefend, SmartPet, and BC Tracking.

WeaponSwap & Stancesets

Automatically equip a set of weapons for each stance, rogue stealth also counts as a stance.

Call me a newb, but what are the macros, scripts, and (other that Cosmos) UI mods, used for?

Can anyone shed some light on that?

I've got one to setup my assist hotkey, just target the MA, hit SetAssist and it rewrites my /assist macro for me. Pretty handy.

I had some to call heals as well but stopped using them.
