Feb. 11 (Bloomberg) -- Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas dismissed two security chiefs after gunmen fired mortar shells at Jewish settlements in the Gaza Strip, imperiling the revival of political ties with the Israeli government.

I thought it would too... I guess we're all in agreement that this is a good thing.

I say this is awesome and great to hear from the new palestinean leader... arafat was a lame duck who chose against peace.. this guy might bring it together and that is very admirable.
