How can a semi newbie earn cash these days?

Post by Vissinroo »

I went to the bazzar to check out what might be for sale that would at least be decent equipment to start with. I thought my hard earned 20pp would plenty to get something decent, wow was I wrong. The things that in 2001 were selling for maybe 50pp is now selling for 500pp? What in the world happened with the economy? Is there a trick now to making that kind of pp for equipment? This could be much tougher starting over than I thought.

farm spider silks and sell them for 10-20pp each. that's how most people get early money.

What happened was a ton of money flooded into the economy due to lots of different bugs, exploits, etc.

Well, noone hunt the old items any more, if they get them they vendor it or use for tribute.

The best way to make some money are tradeskill stuff, just like back in the old days. Spider silk, spiderling silk, leather paddins. If you train your skills up a little, you might be able to make some money on dyes, and celestial esssence are always a good money maker, but require a little start fund.

Definately the fastest and least annoying would be to go PoK and ask in /ooc.

1000p (at least when i played back in October) was nothing - so I doubt you'll have any issues with money.

Well when I stopped playing in 2001ish I had a 56 bard and 50ish warrior, but apparently they were deleted since I had not signed on in so long. SO now I am starting over completely, I am a lvl 7 necro(sigh).
