Ossie Davis Dead at 87

A sad day, even though he lived a full life. Ossie was truly a remarkable person and will be missed. His roles in The Stand and more notably, Bubba Ho-Tep were fantastic--although they play a small part in his life of achievement.

Uhh yeah. Sad that someone named "Ossie" is dead. Yeah. Gosh. Feeling awful here. Someone get me some tissues please.

but seriously, Ossie had a very nice career.. as a producer, writer, actor, and more.. it's an impressive range of stuff and i'm sure there are a lot of people paying respect today with compassionate thoughts.

I don't get your first comment. "Ossie" was a nickname that came from how his mother said "R.C." his first two initials.
