WoW Pics (hi-bandwidth)

I'm only level 23 so I haven't really seen much.. but I still love the graphics and continually ask myself "where's the cartoon?" I fell victim to it before it came out and bashed the graphics... but they've flipped me around.

yeah before I played, seeing screenshots I wasn't sure about the graphics. But once you are there, it all pulls together very nicely!

blizzard often excells at making more out of less. it seems like everyone
focuses on polygon count these days and things just sort of look like a
cliche Poser world. I've always thought Blizzard's visual work is
consistently stylish in the Warcraft series... they just have talent coming
out their ass over there.

edit: damn marginfucker!

Open Beta failed Onyxia raid where I was the only survivor thanks to Feign Death.

Here's a picture of my druid in Stranglethorn a few weeks back. Had originally taken this picture to show off the Mechanical Dragonling that I had made through Engineering.

I played EQ2 and while it is technically a better engine, that game had muddy colors and no soul at all. I'll take WoW graphics in a heartbeat. I love how they incorporated so much of WC3 into the game with sounds and icons. It's very seemless and makes everything somehow familiar.

Not real inpressed with these screenshots either. I mean, they're colorful and all, but I don't care much for the style. Although I'm sure they probably look better ingame.

The screenshots don't do the game justice, I'm sure EQ2s don't either.
