This sounds like something that can be disproved with the "Schrodinger's cat" experiment. Therefore, until we find Bin Laden, he is BOTH alive AND dead! Quantum mechanics are fun!

anyway, that screenshot is old or fake. We use different graphics at the bottom of the screen. The percentage of the screen height taken by the graphics was lowered a while back.

Anyway, i have no doubt that could be a real screen from like 2001 or 2002. The problem is sometimes onscreen graphics are literally written in real time, or with very little advance notice, so invariably you'll get some stuff that upon reflection looks stupid. Thats live television for you.

But i like the Schrodinger's cat thing =D.

And hey Bush said he wanted him "Dead or Alive". And Afterall, Bin Ladin is "Dead or Alive", just like Bush wanted him.

So maybe this is a news piece about how Bush was delivering on his political promises!
