So Im in Orgrimmar watching AH for some bids I have in on some upgrades and generally being a layabout do nothing and just relaxing when I see some across the General Channel that "20+ Alliance with many level 60's are attacking TM!"
I think about it a minute or two and decide not to go help because I dont want to get outbid on my Medium/Short auctions.
Well a few more minutes go by and they say it again that Alliance is attacking Tarren Mills. So I figure "Oh what the hell" and I begin heading out of Orgrimmar to hit the Zepplin.
... I JUST pass through the archway out of Orgrimmar near the 2 Orc Guards when what do I spy? Yes, an ALLIANCE MEMBER! Hes a level 39 Human Mage with PvP *Enabled*!. Well with not even a second thought I immediately send in Bhurn my level 40 bad ass pet. He begins chomping on this mage. The mage is not really overly surprised, but I did get the jump on him.
The Mage turns and starts to run away down the road away from Orgrimmar and I. I open up with a Concussion Shot which has a 12% chance to stun the target and if not resisted will at least snare them for 4 seconds. The stun didnt land but hes snared! Oh yeah boyeeee! This bitch is gonna go DOWN. Im also at the same blasting him with the shotgun and following up with Arcane Shot on every cooldown refresh.
Well the Mage then pulls his head out of his ass and Ices my pet. DOH! Kitty is rooted! No matter I keep firing. Then the bitch starts "blinking" which means he teleports his forward position 20 meters or so. He gets out of my range for a few moments. What the Mage dont know is HE CANT OUT RUN ME. Im a Hunter with Cheetah. IM 35% faster then all you mountless turds. You cant out run a Hunter (hint: never forget that)
I quickly catch him. BLAM! BLAM! goes the shotgun and not to my surprise at all...
the Mage falls like the little bitch he is with me taking not 1 point of damage.
Im feeling rather self saticified at this point yet not even 10 seconds after the Mage falls I turn around and see to my horror a level 42 Warrior 'Charging' me! (Chrge basically let a warrior run like Superman for a short distance and stun the target I believe)
SLAM! He hits me and stuns me. My pet, who is on a defensive stance, immediately engages the vile Night Elf. The Warrior is beating the holy hell out of me. Im quickly dropping health with no out in site. No way am I going to toe-to-toe with this Warrior. He will out tank my trvial melee easily. My only thought is escape. I turn and try to run. STUNNED AGAIN! DAMN! Kitty is raping though. Hes doing quite well and the Warriors health is dropping, but not dropping fast enough for me. I have to think fast.
With my only thought of survival in mind I get the bright idea to simply Feign Death! (Hunters get FD at level 30). Without even thinking I pop my FD and it works! The Warrior ACTUALLY THINKS HE SLAYED ME and he turns on my pet to finish off this wussy Hunter. This happened in the space of about 4 heartbeats.
Thinking me dead it was quite a surprise to him I think when I popped up, ran about 20 feet, turned and opened up gunfire with Concussion Shot! STUNNED! SNARED! OH YEAH BITCH! BLAM BLAM goes my shotgun. Blood is splattering and the Warrior knows he is now in trouble. BLAM BLAM! ARCANE SHOT! His health is dropping faster then a $10.00 whore on MLKjr BLVD.
BLAM BLAM!
WARRIOR DOWN!
MAGE DOWN!
HOOOOOOOOOOARD WINZ!
I run back in to Org to let my PvP flag drop off...
Not 20 minutes later someone comes over LocalDefense stated some level 39 Mage and a 42 Warrior are attacking some newbie city (cant remember name) nearby.
I just laugh inside a little...

Just a heads up in case you were not aware:
FDing will wipe out a rogues combo mid stream, so its good to use when getting raped close in by a rogue. Also, the confuse shot from the marksman tree works wonders for getting someone off your ass, but you need to call the pet off before you do it.

Using FD on a rogue is just asking to get cheap shotted/ambushed again. When I was 46 I got into it with a 51 hunter and he feigned off, I killed his pet (don't think he was expecting me to kill it so fast) and vanished so I could pop him again when he got back up. It does break up our combos points, but if they are specced with Seal Fate, you build combo points so fast it doesn't really matter anyway.

The times I have lsot to a rogue as a hunter in PVP have been entirely due to getting out DPSed from a huge finnisher. My tactic with FD is to just pop it and stand back up immediately and wing clip to get some distance. Usually, a rogue will be so locked into doing his combo moves that you will buy yourself a couple seconds while he tries to figure out what happened (and his targetting will usually switch to your pet as well).

Any PC stupid enough to fall for a hunter doing FD deserves to be killed repeatedly. If hunter dies, pet goes poof.
