Just me?

Post by Sumdaor »

Or has anyone else had major issues with installing Cosmo? It made my framerates drop a "shitpile", and I was hitting like I was unarmed though the game showed I had a weapon equipped. (I was even getitng unarmed skill ups)

My roommate tried it as well, and he had the exact same issues, are we the only ones or is this a buggy ass program?

He's talking about Cosmos. It is a UI enhancement for WoW. http://www.cosmosui.org.

I haven't had any problems with Cosmos recently.

cosmos has drawbacks, but I still use it cause the advantages outnumber them. I don't know about the framerate issue. WoW itself has been laggy for awhile. The only problems I have is crashing during logout to the character select screen and having to deal with updating cosmos everytime there is a patch (which is not as simple as usual application updates).

Use CTmod or Gypsy

I prefer to slowly add bits and pieces of UI that I find reading the forums and other sites. This way I understand things a bit more and I know all the "features" that are being put in. Plus I have a personal, irrational dislike for Cosmos. I think it comes from patch days where 9495739857 people asking the same question "my cosmos broke! can ne1 hlp me?!?"
