Welcome to the forums. I know there is a lot of various discussions and questions going around today so I am hoping to consolidate them somewhat.
Class questions/suggestions
Regarding class balance issues, we have asked the dev team to look further into the following. Please be aware that any proposed changes take time to occur, which is why the discussions have been so many, and the feedback not as many.
Hit/miss ratio concerns - Some players say they miss all the time. Some players say they miss in succession some of the time. We are trying to determine what exactly the problem is. Please remember, unless your weapon skill is maxed out for your current level, misses will be an issue. We are investigating why players who are maxed out on weapon skill are still missing.
Warriors - We are aware of many players who say the warrior is lacking utility. We picked out the most well-developed thoughts on this matter from the player base and have presented them to the dev team for their analysis.
Warlocks - As with the Warrior class, the most well-developed concerns regarding the Warlock class have been made aware of the dev team.
If you have questions outside of these 4 points (this is the extent of info we have right now, but that might change through the course of the day), please feel free to ask them here.
[Language mod]
We have brought up this issue, but it must first be investigated.
[Realm/Login]
All levels of the organization are working to address this. I would like to stress that real progress is being made on the issue behind the scenes, and again, we are all fans of the game and want as much to rid of these problems as much as our players. I know the perception is contrary to that, but there aren't enough words to express how much dedication, from the president on down, is going into resolving these issues.
[Mage]
Water - I will ask for some feedback, not sure why there wouldn't be higher end water.
Arcane Missle - I believe QA is still looking into this matter.
[Character migration]
We plan to offer a 1 time migration from high population realms to low peopulation realms to ease the overcrowding. It is currently undergoing implementation/testing. More details to follow.

Warlocks can't stack compenants and stuff for their spells...so for long runs (think instance) they need to fill their backpack space with non stackable items to summon/cast with...as far as I've seen.
Also, their higher level spells suck.
As for warriors...well...I don't know what they could change on them. You could make them a higher dps class...but then they would be the ultimate.

I too am growing tired of it, but not for the reason listed above. It's the 75+ Alliance guilds and complete lack of unity/organization.Rellix wrote:I don't even care that Cenarius is 3 hours off my time zone... I think that warlocks have a problem with the low number of dot/debuffs that can be on a MOB. In a long fight, their spells can get bumped by melee abilities that use a slot (Bleed, Rend, ect.)

Yeah, its either 14 or 16...and when fighting in one group with a number of different classes, you will get your dots and debuffs dropped. I've seen it with only one group...I can only imagine how it would be in a raid.
And since their main spell line is dot/debuff based...its a big issue to them.
But, like I said, they have other issues too...the stackable items is huge for them too.
I personally think the stackable issue they can live with, getting a free horse and all...but the debuff slots issue is poo.

The stances for warriors are kinda odd. The bonuses could be better. In defensive stance, I hardly notice the damage taken reduced, but I definatly see the damage dealth reduced. If the dmg dealt was reduced by 10%, but the dmg taken was reduced by 20%, I wouldnt definatly use the stance.
In berserker stance, at lower lvls +3% to crit is pathetic, even with my 2 fast 1handers I dont notice an increase in crits. When in groups, I cant really take advantage of the increase because I have mobs banging on me, and with the 10% increase in dmg taken, it hurts. Its only safe if theres a pally/priest around.
Keep in mind im only 38, I do not know how high level warriors work.

I solo'd about 90% or more of my way to lvl 60 as a warrior, and I did the vast majority of it using a shield and one hander in defensive stance. Whether you notice it or not, the fact is, you're taking 10% less damage and dealing 10% less damage. You may not visually notice it, because for the most part, npcs tend to hit a lot less than players, but at a faster rate. So while you may lose anywhere between 10 and 20 to your max damage, the npcs you're fighting may only lose between 3 and 5 damage. I liked defensive a lot better than battle or berserker stance... if you have a good shield and the right talents, shield block is an amazing ability for soloing, especially if you tack on a shield spike. As for battle stance and arms talents... I don't know. The fact that half of the arms talents are weapon-type specific specializations is retarded ( you'd have to respec every time you get a new weapon type in order to perform at maximum efficiency for your level ). Then there's talents like Anger Management which are 99% useless for soloing.Sionistic wrote:The stances for warriors are kinda odd. The bonuses could be better. As for Fury/berserker stance I "personally" wouldn't recommend it until 40+ at least. I don't read any warrior forums or sites or check any parses, etc. so I could be wrong, but a lot of the fury talents compound on each other a lot and don't seem to really be all that great until you have nearly all of them. Around lvl 50 I respecced to fury and used it to solo up until lvl 58 when I respecced back to protection to do some instances.
Do unto others what has been done to you.
