Odd collections

Post by Aabidano »

What sort of strange stuff have you seem people collect? Beyond the run of the milll stuff, i.e.: beanie babies, etc..

A guy I work with collects banana trees, it's apparently somewhat poplular here. Another co-worker collects engines in general, focusing on old outboards mostly.

Stimpy's magic nose goblin collection comes to mind :)

I don't intentionally collect anything myself, just accumulate random stuff.

A bear walks into a bar and asks the bartender for a beer. The bartender says, ''Sorry, we don't give beer to bears in bars.''

The bear replies, ''If you don't give me a beer, I'll eat that lady over there.''

The bartender says, ''Go ahead.''

So the bear eats the lady and asks for a beer. The bartender says, ''Sorry, we don't give beer to bears on drugs.''

''What do mean,'' says the bear. ''I'm not on drugs.''

''Yes, you are, that was the barbituate.''

A young reporter went to a retirement home to interview an aged but legendary explorer. The reporter asked the old man to tell him the most frightening experience he had ever had.

The old explorer said, "Once I was hunting Bengal tigers in the jungles of India. I was on a narrow path and my faithful native gunbearer was behind me. Suddenly the largest tiger I have ever seen leaped onto the path in front of us. I turned to get my weapon only to find the native had fled. The tiger leapt toward me with a mighty ROARRRR! I soiled myself."

The reporter said, "Under those circumstances anyone would have done the same."

The old explorer said, "No, not then - just now when I went ''''ROARRRR!''''"

My brother collects AoL CDs and sticks them on his bedroom wall with pins. I actually think it's awesome.

My rabbit collects dog bones we give him (don't ask why gave them to him in the first place) and piles them all in the same corner of his cage.

My sister collects erasers and temporary tattoos.

One of my previous history teachers collects silver spoons and corrugated cardboard.

I collect those smashed pennies that you make at some vacation places. You put in like 50cents turn the crank and it imprints something on your penny! I've got something like 200 of them.

I too collected shards once...

My dad collected beer cans. At one stage he had about 2000 different Australian cans, all opened from the bottom. Also collects other beer stuff, labels, bottle tops, etcs. He was in a club for a while. This one guy in the club has 10.000 cans.

Actually, I collect scars, period.
They glow this really cool bright red whenever a storm is approaching; it's kinda nifty. :)
