It's EQ instant messenger. Allows you to access the EQ chat server and talk to people in game. Right now though you can't access your guild channel sadly. However all toher channels work great. you can buld a buddy list of all friends across all servers.
Enjoy. Works great.

I'm one who never reads manuals, and can figure most stuff out just fine on my own ... but when a fucking CHAT CLIENT needs a manual to figure out, it just isn't work my time.

i downloaded it and am talking to some folks in game now. Pretty sweet. Don't know that I'd pay for it as a service, but it's cool to play with while it's free.

If it was a browser based java app like
ICQ2GO I could use it at work. That would make too much sense though.
I heard this new EQChat will detect illegal copies of WindowsXP and format your hard drive. Having SEQ installed will prevent that from happening.

If they added a /who all command, I could see it being worth paying an extra $1 a month if they plan on charging. But since it's nothing but chat channels, which break almost every day anyway, it won't be worth to pay for it in it's current form.

Anyone notice that it has been much more quiet as of late? Not to jinx it but did Searyx finally leave the boards?

Saddam Hussein is using SEQ to build Nuclear and Biological Bombs while at the same time keeping the UN content and also using it to prevent the US from attacking them.

Looks like the chat client uses the same ports as EQ. Won't work from the office, and no point in running it at home.

Use SEQ, and you'll feel garden fresh in no time!

I have been sent here to warn you that SEQ is a mainframe program running in your psyche that turns a human being into a living breathing battery...

It is nice to see Dubya's daughters without a bottle of jack in one fist and a prescription for valium in the other.
