Turn offs?

No holds barred discussion. Someone train you and steal your rare spawn? Let everyone know all about it! (Not for the faint of heart!)

Turn offs?

Post by Neziroth »

So I just met a girl, scored a phone number and thought i was in heaven, she looked great, seemed smart, etc.

When I called her, though, ugh...

She swore SO MUCH, so excessively it was ridiculous. F this F that etc, every word in the book.

Biggest. Turnoff. Ever.

I'd rather date a girl with some freaky disease I think, at least she can have a conversation without making everybody around blush.

How about you guys? What's your biggest turn-off?

Did you call her at church? :) Some people can moderate their language in different settings and some can't, apparently she wasn't swearing like a dock hand when you met her in public, so I guess she can. Props to you for not trying to change her though.

Turn offs though... women that act like men; ignorant, selfish, scratch their crotch in public...

Overly fat is a big turn off for me, lack of intelligence and sophistication too, I would back off from the sort of woman you describe there.

Actually the only real turn off is when she says "NO"! or "I'm calling the Cops"! or "You're violating the restraining order"!

People who put their whole store in a person by looks, thinking nothing of personality.
It could be that the only purpose for your every existence, is to serve as a warning to others.

I can't stand dating chicks who constantly use four letter words:

Stop
Don't
Quit

.............ok, that was pretty gay, my apologies.

Idiots are a turn off for me, but even those have their good parts.
Women that remind me of my mother.. ok, a bit of a turn off. :(

No Xag, I beleive there is more to beauty than just physical looks and that women are God's most inherantly beautiful of all creations (with some exceptions).

Ahh.. The discussion is about qualities that are unappealing, whether they're physical characteristics or behavioral traits, etc. When you said that almost nothing can turn you off, I didn't realize that you were referring only to physical attributes.

As for my turn offs:

Ignorance
Stupidity
Strong religious tendencies
Intolerance
Overly obsessed with appearance / style (label whores)
Loud, obnoxious behavior
Excessively thin people - I shouldn't see much of your skeletal structure.

For me

I don't know a better way to word it than above so

strong religious tendencies - A big one for me.

OVERLY thin or heavy people

Too much / bad color (IE: black) makeup

I cannot tolerate any goth crap of any form even as small as a spike necklace or whatever (kind of goes with the previous one)

Over emotional women drive me nuts.

thats most of the big ones.

Edit - Smoking, socially while drinking or what not isnt so bad, but habitual smokers are pretty much out of the question for me.

I hate guys who act like a sales rep 24/7. You know the type, fakey-enthusiastic, always seeing (imagining) the bright side in everything. I like a guy who can be a smart ass and a bit bitchy when there is cause to be. Same thing with chicks.

people with no long-term plans or goals.

complete lack of confidence (although being overly arrogant is also a turn-off).

and i have to agree with bren - bad teeth. maybe it's shallow to feel that way, but i just could never imagine kissing someone who doesn't take care of their mouth. :/
