Single Player Doom?

Well I bought my dad a present, Doom 3. He said he wanted a single player, level based, non-internet/multiplayer game(which Doom 3 has the option). So anyways, I was wondering if the gameplay could be incorparated with a few sites. I dont visit the sites so i dont have info for that. So what I am asking is, tactics and screenplay, and maps for single player Doom 3. Or any sites with the previously mentiond.

Regardless of your terrible spelling and grammar, if he can't figure out Doom 3 he needs to stick to console gaming. It's possibly the simplest game ever. Go in dark room, kill guys, pickup PDA, kill more guys, go to next room.

it's the most linear game since pole position. somehow this mars base only has one entrance and a really long oddly designed stretch of tunnels and rooms before the entrance to hell.

oh and you're so dumb you can't use a flashlight and a gun at the same time.

Some parents arent very good at computer games. I installed Call of Duty for my dad and he had trouble making it through the training mission. He kept looking at either the ground or the sky. It was rather funny to watch but I'm sure it was frustrating for him.

Its Christmas time! I would suggest going somewhere easy to navigate - maybe http://www.gamefaqs.com and look up Doom 3 and see what you can get ahold of there.
