What you just said reminds me of when my friends would push a guy into traffic only to bring him back and say "I just saved your life, you owe me one".
I'm sure they had terrorists in Iraq before that war, but not that amount. The US created the majority, so of course, this is now a fight against "terrorists".

No Rekaar: your government's actions created an environment that terrorist ideology thrives in. While there may have been existing resentment because of the Gulf War and the embargos, there was also a stable government and police force in place. There was animosity but it wasn't on the scale it is now, it wasn't on the personalized level it is now (amazing how losing a friend or family member can color your opinion of the killers) and there was a ruthless police force in place to quash any activities the government did not sanction.
As far as the US physically creating terrorists, as far as a lot of middle easterners are concerned, you have. Look at the civilian body count in Iraq, look at the crap in the prisons like Abu Ghraib or the support of a pseudo-fascist regime in Israel. How do you define it? How did Timothy McVeigh define it?

You Might want to say it takes 2 to tango let me re work your little statement here,
As far as the Middle East physically creating terrorists, as far as a lot of Americans are concerned, they have. Look at the civilian body count in NY,Afghanastan,Somlia,Spain,Manila,Ireland and Iraq, look at the crap in the prisons like Abu Ghraib(Before the US got there) or the support of a pseudo-fascist regime in Iraq. How do you define it? How did Osama Bin Laden define it?"
It's not irrelevant when you consider what the French did when President Bush went to the UN about the invasion of Iraq.MooZilla wrote:well i was most pissed off at fox about how they seek to mention the french so much when they are quite irrelivant.
i've seen this story on 3 other major news channels/sites and france was not mentioned once.
Hurt his pocketbook when Saddam was ousted.
heh of course the civilian bodycount caused by the US can be ignored since they were just towelheads that got in the way.Look at the civilian body count in NY,Afghanastan,Somlia,Spain,Manila,Ireland and Iraq, look at the crap in the prisons like Abu Ghraib(Before the US got there) or the support of a pseudo-fascist regime in Iraq.
Oh and in retrospect, anyone who spoke out against the pure and utter bullshit Bush "presented" to the UN should be applauded.
Funny thing is, a guildie of mine just spent 10 days in France on a business trip and his final comment was:
i have to tell you, the lies the media tells us about france are just that. lies. everyone was so nice, no one smelled and most of them spoke english (in paris at least). i would actually consider going on assignment there for a few years, if work offered it to me.
