They need to have a Darwin award for idiots who get thrown in jail, but don't die.

But on a side note, they can't prove they actually had the marijuana to sell can they? At most search the house and follow the lead for who stole the marijuana. If they're lawyer is any good, they can probably get that off, or would the confession really stand up in court?

The article says they found some pot in the house, and with their confession they can nab them on intent to distribute that bit they found.
