Looks like some good additions.

Gift set comes with a Minas Tirith polystone statue... I think that the Fellowship giftset was the best one. I never bought the one for Two Towers with Gollum.

I'm still dissappointed there is no cleansing of the Shire. Oh well, besides that one omission, the EE seems to hit all the bases the were not in the theatrical release.

The extended addition has some nifty extra clips that REALLY should have made it into the movie.. ESPECIALLY the part where Gimli makes the statement, "I guess that concludes negotiations" or something like that.. it was the funniest part of the entire movie.

Overall it's better than the release of course, but there's still too much gaytastic lust in Frodo and Sam's eyes.. not that there's anything wrong with that..
