OSU.... Michigan...

Post by Animale »

Bummer on Michigan losing to OSU. OSU is the devil and I was hoping for a complete failure of a season from them. By beating Michigan it makes their season a damn success.

As much as I do not like OSU, it is not that big a deal for Michigan.... sucks to lose, but this loss is hardly a factor in //\\//\\'s season...

OSU won but it didn't effect our Rose Bowl appearance, thank you Iowa and Michigan State for losing close games to us and then dominating the Badgers.

Losing the big game is always a big thing. I would imagine Michigan isn't saying it's no big deal.

I'm not saying it isn't a big deal. But Michigan still gets the $15 million dollar BCS payout rather than a $5 million one from the Capital One bowl.

I was at the game and while I always want to beat the Buckeyes, this was the happiest I've ever left a loss to them. We weren't really in the hunt for the national championship, and we still are going to the Rose Bowl, so it's not that big a deal.

I'll take a 9-2 season that ends in the Rose Bowl with a Freshman QB and running back anytime.

He tied that NCAA record for punt returns for a touchdown with that last one.

I would say OSU has a lot to look forward too. Troy Smith looked impressive, Antonio Pittman looks to be a good running back, Ted Ginn is just amazing, and they have a lot of the receiving corp back next year.

Yea, Michigan fans have a lot to look forward to in the next couple of years. I for one can say that I look forward to Chad Henne wiping John Navarre's name out of the Michigan record books :P

This doesn't sound like a fan from the Detroit area! I want to hear about who you beat up after the game!

Grats on the Rose Bowl. ASU couldn't get by either USC or Cal this year so I think we get the Holliday Bowl as long as we beat UofA Friday.

Our fans were remarkably good this year. There were no riots after the game, no burning cars, and not too much harrassment of the michigan fans. Although, the michigan fans had plenty of time to duck out of the stadium while we rushed and the field and then stayed to sing the alma mater.

anyways, good game, and looking forward to these two young teams competing the next 2-3 years.

Go Bucks.

While it was a lot better than two years ago, there was still a bit of harassment. It was funny when we were walking back from the game and everyone was talking shit (I must have heard "FUCK MICHIGAN" a million times) and saying that we suck and I'd just smile at them and give them a "Go Blue!" and a thumbs up. They couldn't seem to get it through their heads that we are still Big 10 champs (again!) and going to the Rose Bowl.

Oh well!

I don't actually go to OSU and even though I'm a rabid fan I still like to stir shit up from time to time. Unfortunatly, yelling GO BLUE didn't work so well while wearing my OSU jersey. It actually resulted in me meeting girls instead of getting my ass kicked /boggle.
