Looking for link to live webcast for Election.

Post by Sargeras »

Anyone have a link to a website (CNN or whatever) that is having a Live webcast of the election? I don't have TV here in LA, and I'd like to monitor while I'm at the computer here at home and while I'm in class today.

I've found this at CNN's site, but it don't think it auto-refreshes. ><

not sure what you want to find Sarge, but CNN isnt giving out any exit poll data, any predictions on races until all the polls in that state close. So 4pm your time for the Atlantic coast states (except Florida, part of the panhandle is in Central Time).

The big hour will be 8 eastern, 5 pacific, Florida results, Ohio results. Is part of PA in Central time?

i think any reputable news agency would be doing that so as not to bias the results.

that being said, lets see if we can find a site that gives us some infoz :p i bet there is some quasi news web site that is doing it. We need to find like 3 or 4 so we can cross reference them to make sure they aren't some partisan front groups!

However Sarge, if you go to CNN.com and go to the election 2004 section, you can fill out a personal election tracker that will let you log in and check the results on state and national races when they do become available. Meaning you can select the 20 races you are most interested in and it will make a one stop place for you to check the results of those specific races. So if you want to check the Senate seat in Colorado (its a close race) then that could be one, etc.

What? You mean this time CNN is not going to declare States Bush that CNN's own reporting tells them as too close to call just because they are worried about being scooped by Fox? That will be a refreshing change. :)

CNN's election site is really well done, btw. I searched around a lot this morning for then and CNN's is by far the best and most user tailorable. (Though the pop-up asking me if I wanted to set "MyCNN" as the US or International version was annoying).

That site is about as liberal as it gets. Kerry's face never leaves MSNBC's site for more then 30 minutes.
