Kerry/Florida.
I've never voted for a Democratic president before. I feel dirty.

I would have voted for some other third party or left the ballot blank. And no, I don't see my voted as wasted because change can only come from voting for the right choice. I don't see Kerry or Bush as being good presidents and I hate how the media and two party system is making it impossible for normal people to run for office. Our political system is quickly becoming a system where only the rich have any control. Anyone know the latest tabs for this election? Must be $300 million by now.Mak wrote:Who would you have voted for had Badnarik not been on the ballot?
To clarify though, I did vote for Russ Feingold(D) because he was the only one with balls big enough to vote against the Patriot Act. I also voted for Dave Obey(D) because he supports Medical Marijuana. I am not against voting for someone I like, I just didn't like Kerry or Bush. Both of them gave me a sick feeling in my stomach.
I am happy to say that my conscience is clear with my vote for Badnarik.

I would vote for a 3rd party if it was not an election as important as this one. I did vote for some propositions that help get 3rd parties on the ballot here in CA though. I think Kerry will do a good job, and I'm not totally disgusted with him. If it was Lieberman, I would vote for Nader or Cobb or someone else...We'd be screwed anyways...

Nader/Alabama.
Bush and Kerry are both shit candidates. Alabama is an overwhelming Bush state, so I could cast my protest vote without worrying about wasting a vote. I probably wouldn't have bothered to go at all if it weren't for some local issues that I wanted to vote on.

Let me first preface this by the statement that if NY had the slightest chance of being close I would have voted for Bush, but as it won't even be close, I voted
Badnarik/New York
all other elections went straight Republican party line. I feel that the support of a the third party is important because the current two party system is too far to the left and right for me.
So there is at least one CD that voted for the Republicans.

Funny, Bush was the killingest Governer ever, and given 4 more years will be the killingest President, and you vote for him on the basis of being pro-life.Akaran_D wrote:Bush / WV
Can't vote for someone that is pro-death(choice) with a clear conscience.
Shame Joseph Mengela isn't running.

Luckily i had a 0 minute line, but afterwards i did volunteer at the Kerry HQ for a few hours, as i was comming home they announced Zogy has Kerry up with 311 electoral votes
In early voting in Florida, 25%ish of the vote, Kerry won by *SIX* points
Good to see most Bush votes here dont count! since there in useless states!
I almost see a clear Kerry victory, bush is a breath away from loosing this election
