I know I'm good at what I do, but I know I'm not the best.
But I guess that on the other hand, I could be like the rest.

Homicide
1 A person who kills another person.
Maniac
1. An insane person.
2. A person who has an excessive enthusiasm or desire for something: a sports maniac.
3. A person who acts in a wildly irresponsible way: maniacs on the highway.
Homicidal Maniac = what you will most likely come into contact with when you piss off Laliana with the term Neocon 5000 times a day.

Liberal
Liberals…
Are wary of American arrogance and hypocrisy
Trace much of today's anti-American hatred to previous US foreign policies.
Believe political solutions are inherently superior to military solutions
Believe the US is morally bound to intervene in humanitarian crises
Oppose American imperialism
Support international law, alliances, and agreements
Encourage US participation in the UN
Believe US economic policies must help lift up the world's poor
Historical liberal: President Woodrow Wilson
Modern liberal: President Jimmy Carter
This surprises me, because in the past I have been moderate to conservative. Thanks W for creating another worthless suburban liberal!

Umm, nope. If you notice, most of the Bush supporters are realists. It's more funny that you popped up as a realist. Maybe you should redo the test again. If it comes up realist again, then you need to re-assess which candidate best supports the principles you find important.Sylvus wrote:

For too many years those who happen to have the afformentioned genitalia have been repressed in our society.
No longer should we let this stand.
We must disavow our arrogant imperialist meatgrinding foreign policy and return to the collective table of nations. There together, we as a world community can address the greater issues of our society such as poverty, hunger, desecration of our environment, and misunderstandings in the middle east.

I don't know the man well enough to think that at all. Never said I did either. Maybe you should go out and buy a Jump to Conclusions board.Xzion wrote:If you think GW is a "realist" then you are a moron.Midnyte_Ragebringer wrote:Umm, nope. Most of the 'realistic' Bush supporters are being pretty unrealistic if they think that their candidate has followed most of the principles that seem to resonate with them.Midnyte_Ragebringer wrote:Umm, nope. Bush has not increased US power through successful diplomacy, has severed many of our strong alliances, and has not weighed the political costs of many of his foreign actions.Realists…

I have confidence that one of these days you're going to gain some sort of grasp of reading comprehension. In fact, I'm convinced that you may already be practicing, and that could explain your choice in a candidate.
P.S. It's a jump to conclusions mat.

It doesn't surprise me that Sylvus is a realist, there are several other reluctant kerry supporters here that would score that as well. Speaking for myself, I think I could do a better job than both candidates but I recognize Bush as the clear choice to lead the country based on what I deem a priority. That's the deciding factor I think, what you are using as your priority. Not necessarily your beliefs or thought process.

Apparently I'm a realist.
So does that mean there really IS a magic genie living in my head? Because I think I might just be really fucked up.

Dunno about the questions, but I don't necessarily agree w/ their scoring.. I thought perhaps some people scoring "realist" were softballing their answers so took it with the view of answering their stated positions in previous threads, and it came up realist.noel wrote:Realist.
Can't say I'm suprised. Given the source website, I was kind of amazed that the questions weren't more skewed/slanted in one direction or another.
I did think the [results are not scientific] thing at the end was hilarious.
Apparently CSM thinks "realist" == shoot them all and let God sort it out.
edit: curiously, changed one answer and got necon..

When I was younger, I used to think that the world was doing it to me and that the world owes me some thing…When you're a teeny bopper, that's what you think. I'm 40 now, I don't think that anymore, because I found out it doesn't f--king work. One has to go through that. For the people who even bother to go through that, most assholes just accept what it is anyway and get on with it." - John Lennon
