Why being non-partisan is fun

Being non-partisan means I can chuckle at all three of these!

I'm voting for Kerry but I still think they are all funny. I believe you can make fun of just about anything :)

Someone on one of the other threads mentioned that you really can't fake athleticism and if you don't have it you probably shouldn't try. I've seen more pictures of Kerry being 'physically active' than almost any other candidate/President, and I really think he should focus more on his strengths. :P He just looks so uncomfortable and off balance when he's doing anything.

What's he doing in that last picture, long-snapping? As far as the first picture goes, what is he doing there, "head"ing the ball?

I haven't seen video of any of his athletic feats, but I will say that people don't always look the coolest in a still photo. I bet there are stills of Mia Hamm looking kind of silly when playing soccer. Or think about the silly faces people make when having sex or doing any sort of physical activity.

Now, had you posted the one of him catching the football, I'd agree that he looks like a retard trying to catch that ball, though I can't say I haven't bobbled a pass or two in my day.

Aranuil, you are not even CLOSE to non partisan, unless being a liberal lefty is considered nonpartisan now.

Actually, my perspective on Aranuil has always been someone who hates Bush, and not always allied with the left.

With that said, I want to be a liberal lefty. Everyone else is doing it!

I voted for Bush Sr. in the first election I was old enough to vote in, for Bob Dole in the second election I was able to vote in, and for Bush Jr. in the third election I was able to vote in.

I'm pretty moderate with conservative leanings, but I think the current administration has failed miserably. I think Kerry will be largely ineffectual, but no worse than Bush. I think whoever inherits the White House after Bush either in this election or the next is going to to have a giant hole to dig this country out of.

Non-partisan does not mean that you can't form an opinion, though I'm quite certain that nuance is lost on many of the posters here.

I voted for Bush Sr. in 88, then Clinton in 92 and 96, the Bush Jr. in 2000. I consider myself a moral conservative and poltical liberal... thus I truly have no party :) While I'm a registered Democrat because of previous experiences with the Republican party I still believe you should vote for the person, not the party.

That being said, I FIRMLY believe being morally conservative is completely different from being a moral bigot :)

Amusingly enough, in some pictures where Bush has his stupid grin on his face he looks a bit North Korean.

I'm sure there have been a few that have been on tours ;)

But I get where you're coming from. The lack of Native representatives in both American and Canadian governments is quite astounding. I was watching CBC the other week and there was a story regarding the first Native representative, in I believe it was New Brunswicks Provincial Legislation (Might have been Nova Scotia), and how he was stating that he felt obvious overatures of racism and bigotry against him.
