It's bad ass.
I just wish my grey and white hairs were in a place that people saw them daily. :(

Grey hair is cool to want until you wake up one morning look in the mirror and wonder why you have half a head of grey before you are 30 and then you start to wonder....what the fuck.
Grey hair = bad
Dye = good.

I agree with Sylvos. I don't like it. I don't think it makes anyone look distinguished, just old.

Bakara is starting to go gray and I've told him that he's going to start dying his hair when it gets too bad.

Man, here I am nearly 30 and not a gray hair to be found... I'm one of the lucky ones, I guess. Ironic that I don't mind gray hair at all.

I have about 20 grey hairs (on my head) at 35.
I don't like them but my fiancee thinks it's sexy for some reason.
When I grow out my beard, I have a pretty even mix of grey/black around my chin. I don't mind that as much.

Dyeing your hair grey is the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. You will not look like Harrison Ford or Sean Connery. You will look like a 20 year old doofus who dyed his hair grey. Celebrate your youth with colorful hair dyes.

I've heard that blue and purple are popular with the kids, but perhaps pink is more your speed?

well, i don't have any gray hairs, and my family really doesn't get any til 40, but i kinda like the look of the silverish bad ass look. You guys are all taking it the way that grey is the sign of age and all, but i'm thinking more on the lines as a young person doing it, i think its better than all those people doing pink or blue.

young people with all grey just look sad to me. I think "poor guy" (not "bad ass!") when I see something like that....

Yea, seeign someone that's obviously under 30 with 'salt and pepper' or a full head of grey is just sad.

People would probably think you have some sort of medical condition, suffering from extreme stress or some idiot who is trying to look 'older' to cover up their immaturity.

I got my first grey hair at age 15 and now, at 35, I'm about 70% grey. My beard is also streaked. It runs in my family (dad 100% silver by 40, aunt 100% silver by 25).
Perconally though I don't really care. I keep my head cropped back to a #2 most of the time and it minimises the effect.
There's no way I could dye it because (1) I'm too lazy (2) I have otherwise jet black hair and black dye looks weird (3) I'd have to dye my beard too - fuck that and (4) men who dye are teh gay.
I take some mild ribbing about it from time to time but I simply point out I'd rather be greying than balding. It's lost it's colour but my hair is still thick and my hairline has not budged a millimetre.

This is the case of my husband also though he was a dirty blond to begin with so it wasn't as noticeable as having black hair would be. At 40 he was completely grey except for some of his beard. I have never asked him to dye it since I like the look.

At 40 my hair has gone from light blond to dirty blond / light brown with grey at the temples that is spreading fast.

I think that men dyeing their hair, for any reason, is turbo ghey.

On the rare occasions when I find a gray hair, they're pulled immediately. I'm not down with the gray look.

More women should have the Rogue X-Man look. I want to see more streaks of grey!

People can do whatever they want with dye and hair. How can anyone complain when there are people running around with red, blue and orange hair?

I think men who are balding and comb their hair from one side of their head over the bald top to the other side are more disturbing to look at. Once you have just a few strands on top, wouldn't it be better to shave it and leave the sides or just shave your entire head?

My dad has male pattern baldness and only had a fringe of hair left by age 25. I always said if that happened to me I'd go the Jean-Luc Picard route and shave my head. About a year ago I convinced Dad to go with a close-cropped haircut (#2 buzz cut attachment) on the remaining hair, and he looks much better than when he let it grow (thankfully he never did a "comb-over" :P:P:P)

Had gray hair starting in my late teens, not very noticeable but they were there.

My Dad was completely gray by 40. Who knows when my Mom's hair turned gray, she's always dyed it.

I've always had people give me shit about having gray hair.

I just tell em I'd rather it turn gray than turn loose.

I wouldn't dye my hair gray however I won't fight the fact that my hair turns gray when it finally does. Baldness doesn't run in my family and if I'm anything like my dad, I'll start graying only in my early 50's.

Your mother's side of the family is to blame for baldness most of the time. I'm not sure about the genetic patterns of grey hair though.

Grey should be earned and not faked. You'll have plenty of time to have grey hair later. Granted some folks get grey early either by genetics or by lousy rotten screaming kids.

Wait for it to come in naturally. Then it will look distinguished.

Wrong crowd to ask I guess, everyone here has real gray hair, heh, I was just doing it cause it'd be something different and the color would contrast nicely, and its more original than the cries for help that dye green, pink, and blue.

Really stupid. So stupid in fact I had to check twice to make sure this wasn't Kylere with another one of his moronic polls. Grey hair on younger men looks ridiculous. More ridiculous than say bright pink hair.

But hey, who are we to judge, go out and be stupid.

Shave it. Bald or cut so close that it might as well be is the way to go. I wish I had known 20 years ago how much easier and better it looks to simply have no hair.

go white-blonde then! I think it looks good on most guys unless you have dark coloring and then its iffy. I've seen hispanic guys do the bleached hair thing and it just looked odd.

I still have no gray hairs!! (at 32 :( ) I cackle in glee that Sylvos has them when I don't. Adds some balance to the relationship since he is younger -

No fucking way I would dye my hair gray on purpose, that's retarded. Tom Cruise looked retarded in Collateral. Guys shouldn't dye their hair gray either.

Yeah, I vote white blond if you want something new and not lame!
