How many new Packer fans will there be for this game?FOOTBALL + ELECTION
Did you know....??
The Washington Redskins have proved to be a time-tested election predictor. In the previous 15 elections, if the Washington Redskins have lost their last home game prior to the election, the incumbent party has lost the White House. When they have won, the incumbent has stayed in power.
This election year, that deciding game takes place on Sunday, October 31 ... vs. Green Bay.

That's strange, even stranger than Missouri picking every election's winner for the past 100 years except for one. This is even weirder in the fact that it's football. Still, despite me voting Kerry this year, I cannot root for the epitome of evil, Green Bay. We showed em how to play football this year against the Black and Blue.
(No comments about how the Bears can't show anyone else how to play. We beat Green Bay, and that's all that matters.)

I must root for the Pack, because Favre is my starting QB in my money league.

Favre can be bought off for a six pack!
BTW, Favre threw for 5 touchdowns in the game after his father died. His Brother-in-law died from an accident last week. How many TD's is a brother-in-law worth in tonights MNF game? I'm up by 50 in my league but the Favre factor has my nervis huge.

/nod. Long time Redskin fan. This year is really tearing me apart with the continual losses and self-destruction. I will be rooting for the Redskins to win no matter what superstitions were out there.Sylvos wrote:I always root for the skins, always. I refuse to allow political desire even touch my enjoyment of one of the greatest sports in creation. Everyone should always root for the Redskins, F the Packers.
