method, with the exception of the use of websites to suppliment their marketing campaigns.

I'm drawing a total blank after Ty (Beanie Babies) and Playboy.
Anyone else think of others?

Doesn't Adobe put adverts in magazines and such?
Dell deffinately uses other advertising methods than just w.o.m...

Trying to think of well known brands that use JUST wom and websites both. No other adverts - no magazines, no mass mailings, ect.

Adobe doesnt really have an advertising dept. The marketing is HUGE though. Most of the time its that pesky reader that lures you in. Like when you're recieving a file or online and need to fill out a form you're lead to the Adobe website to download the reader.....and then you explore th site a litte and realize there's some cool stuff there. TADA! interest is peaked and now Adobe has a customer. You may not buy anything...But you know it's there now. ;)

PBR sure as fuck does advertise.
In 2002, Pabst spent $427,000 on measured media, which includes television, magazines, billboards, radio and newspapers, compared to Anheuser-Busch's $419 million and Miller's $275 million.
The Pabst Blue Ribbon beer song from their commercials of old will always be in my head.

PBR me ASAP! I remember that. I like that beer. Or I should say I have memories of liking that beer. I have since moved on to my current favorite, Michelob Ultra.
