Cart I think that is a great idea and I'm sure our military would love to be able to do that, hell I'm all for it... problem is finding "them" because it's not just your average brown person on the street. If they terrorist had big orange hats or something that would make this whole thing much more enjoyable...

Kill 100 of who? Do you mean every time a militant Syrian terrorist camping out in Iraq kills an American, we should kill 100 random Iraqi citizens?Cartalas wrote:Yeah your Right everytime they kill a American kill 100 of them.Kelshara wrote:Considering that would A. be just what they want and B. not hurt them at all.. hum.. you supportign terrorists Cartalas? Hey Kylere fuck off, Trailer trash puke.
I have a better idea, why don't we use the martial law rules to kick out all the unarmed, non-military personnel wandering the country asking to be picked up by militants and terrorsists until the area is secure and safe?

Was suggested on Q107 (Local Classic Rock Station) by John Derringer (morning guy) that when these; suicide bombings, beheadings, car bombings, hostage takings etc occur the intelligence community should focus on who the people are behind the masks, find their families and eradicate every single one from the planet. Men, Women, Children, Uncles, Aunts, Dogs, Cats, Birds.
Do this a few times and the 70 virgins don't look so appealing any more. While I don't subscribe to the above suggestion I must admit that it has merit in part because the cost for committing a terrorist act must be escalated.
Locking down the country is a hopeless suggestion, agreed. But how about locking down a city, or even better having some military personnel pose as outside contractors as bait for these terrorists. Let them be kidnapped and follow them to the terrorists hideout. Then right when they are about to put knife to neck the damn Navy Seals burst in and blow these bastards away.

Terrorists have smeared Islam

It is a certain fact not all Muslims are terrorists, but it is equally certain, and exceptionally painful, that the hostage-takers of children in Beslan, North Ossetia, were Muslims.
The hostage-takers and subsequent murderers of Nepalese chefs and workers in Iraq were Muslims. Those involved in rape and murder in Darfur, Sudan, are Muslims, with other Muslims chosen to be their victims.
Those responsible for the attacks on residential towers in Riyadh and Khobar were Muslims. The two women who crashed two airliners in Russia were also Muslims.
Osama bin Laden is a Muslim. The majority of those who manned suicide bombings against buses, vehicles, schools and buildings, across the world, were Muslim. What a pathetic record. What an abominable "achievement." Does all this tell us anything about ourselves, our societies and our culture?
These images, when put together or taken separately, are shameful and degrading. But let us start with putting an end to a history of denial. Let us acknowledge their reality, instead of denying them and seeking to justify them with sound and fury signifying nothing.
For it would be easy to cure ourselves if we realize the seriousness of our sickness. Self-cure starts with self-realization and confession. We should then run after our terrorist sons, in the full knowledge that they are the sour grapes of a deformed culture.
Let us listen to Yusuf al-Qaradawi --the sheikh and Qatar-based radical Egyptian cleric -- and hear him recite his fatwa about the religious permissibility of killing civilian Americans in Iraq. Let us contemplate the incident of this religious sheikh allowing, nay even calling for, the murder of civilians.
This ailing sheikh, in his last days, with two daughters studying in "infidel" Britain, solicited children to kill innocent civilians. How could this sheikh face the mother of the young Nick Berg, who was slaughtered in Iraq because he wanted to build communication towers in that ravished country? How can we believe him when he tells us Islam is the religion of mercy and peace while he is turning it into a religion of blood and slaughter?
In a different era, we used to consider the extremists, with nationalist or leftist leanings, a menace and a source of corruption because of their adoption of violence as a means of discourse and their involvement in murder as an easy shortcut to their objectives.
At that time, the mosque used to be a haven, and the voice of religion used to be that of peace and reconciliation. Religious sermons were warm behests for a moral order and an ethical life.
Then came the neo-Muslims. An innocent and benevolent religion, whose verses prohibit the felling of trees in the absence of urgent necessity, that calls murder the most heinous of crimes, that says explicitly if you kill one person you have killed humanity as a whole, has been turned into a global message of hate and a universal war cry.
We can't call those who take schoolchildren as hostages our own.
We cannot tolerate in our midst those who abduct journalists, murder civilians, explode buses; we cannot accept them as related to us, whatever the sufferings they claim to justify their criminal deeds. These are the people who have smeared Islam and stained its image. We cannot clear our names unless we own up to the shameful fact terrorism has become an Islamic enterprise; an almost exclusive monopoly, implemented by Muslim men and women.
We cannot redeem our extremist youths, who commit all these heinous crimes, without confronting the sheikhs who thought it ennobling to reinvent themselves as revolutionary ideologues, sending other people's sons and daughters to certain death, while sending their own children to European and American schools and colleges.

Let me make a comment then we will consider something:
9-11 terrorists. They are reviled, and with good cause. They killed a thousand innocent people that day. They are Muslim.
Bush is a Christian. How many innocent people have died since he invaded Iraq?
To summarize this for you Cartlas, and this is not meant to be offensive:
Radicals attacked us on 9-11-01. Radicals also attacked Iraq. Just because you say you are Muslim or Christian (or part of any other religion which promotes peace and virtue), if you cannot back those claims up with action that promotes your ideals then you are not Muslim and not Christian. You are just a pretender to a title you cannot comprehend and nothing more. Osama is no more Muslim and Bush is no more Christian than I am a fucking Bodavista. The proof is in the death tolls.
That being said, I request that you stop making threads about frauds and trying to label them as part of religious group A. Thanks.

Acies, the main difference here is that the terrorists who are murdering innocent people are doing so in the name of their God. They are self described muslims who have declared a Holy Jihad against the west.Acies wrote:Let me make a comment then we will consider something:

George Bush has never once made this about religion. He has never said that his God commanded him to invade Iraq or Afghanistan for that matter.
The terrorists are painting all of Islam in a poor light, and muslims around the world are NOT standing up and outing the terrorists who could not exist without support from the muslim community. As long as the muslims do NOTHING about the murderers in their midst they will be viewed as a barbaric society or group.
If George Bush made this a religious war I would be the first to say that my God does not condone killing or prejudice. However the USA is in a cesspool, rightly or wrongly and they must see it through to the conclusion.

Terrorist hate "peace loving muslims" who are against there cause almost as much, as they hate everyone else. they view real muslims as a lesser form of an infedel and not a true supporter of allah. Your dumb-ass thinks its up to "peace loving muslims" and noone else to make an effort to stop terrorism.

Cartlas, seriously man, read the Koran. Please. I think you will find it enlightening.
You know Toker, you are correct. George Bush never specifically said that god told him to go to war. However, as a Christian, he has beared false witness, taken the lords name in vain, stole, murdered, worshiped an idol. I do not see how he can call himself a Chrisitian anymore man and not be lying through his teeth.

People that only see the world in Black and White are the reason that Bush's "With us or against us" slogan worked so well.Cartalas wrote:When Peace loving muslims make some sort of effort in stoping them , Then and only then will I stop lumping them together.
There's 6 billion people on the planet, there's a a whole SHITLOAD of fucking gray.
That majority of people don't blindly love or hate the US however this majority don't want to see people get hurt either.
The fact that you're lumping all muslims with the terrorists shows how truly shortsighted and isolated some of you are.
Islam
Worlds largest religion of praticing followers (more christians, but less praticing christians(christians being considered people such as winnow, mid, myself and others with christian cultural backrounds, that dont necessarily even call themselves christian))
Fastest growing religion on earth
18% of Muslims are arab, about 82% non arab (white, black, asian, pacific islanders mainly)
90% Sunni
10% Shi'ite and others, Majoritys in Iraq, Iran, Oman, Lebanon, Azerbaijan... all other Muslim countrys are overwhelmingly Sunni
Around 30% of the worlds population is Muslim
Some fun facts there, that neocon white trash americans dont know or care to know...as Bush supporters hold up signs ment to be NEGATIVE reading "Muslims for Kerry"...even i was shocked to see them do this, despite my heavy negativity towards racism and descrimination, mainly in the neoconservative movement
