Please put your team name when you post your opinion.
Poll will run for 2 days from time of posting.

Because we drafted only 1 defensive player that means that there are a huge number of defensive possibilites. All I am looking to do is augment the scoring for those individual efforts for those players by awarding an extra point for sacks, ints, and fumble recoveries.

There is no reason why people can't find a single defensive player that will perform well. So you didn't get the player with the big name. So what. There is someone out there that you can replace him with. I know that most folks didn't even bother to get a backup for their D guy. Not that this is a bad thing or a wrong thing. It just means that there are still great players out there. The main problem is that you don't hear defensive players names that often compared to the WR, RB, or QB's.

By making the adjustment to add a point for sacks, fumbles, ints, there won't be any change in the outcome of anyone's match in week 1. Also, the total points for a team won't go up by more than a few points. I don't think there were any players last week that had 5 fumble recoveries, 3 ints, and 10 sacks. If they did they'd be on the next Wheaties box.

Give it some thought.

Animale's

Doesn't really matter. Just a bonus if your guy does well. Defensive stuff like that is so inconsistent anyway.

Basically, I don't want to have to fuck with that shit. I'm not all that fond of the D player to begin with, as drafting a player and a team defense simultaneously is retarded.

If this were a league like one I played in 2 years ago, where you drafted an entire team individually on both sides of the ball, I'd be fine with it. The way our league is structured, I'm not.

I'm also not a fan of individual defensive players so the less they impact the total score the better.

Then again, Asspirates and myself are #1 and #2 in the league right now so it's no wonder we like things as they are : )

Bah. Here is the decision. We keep things they way they are and deal with it. Too many folks are getting bent out of shape over this minor thing so it isn't worth the headaches.

We're just in favor of doing nothing as opposed to doing something. Call it laziness
